Default Used Car OWNERS!! Qeustion..........

I already have a tC and love it, have the automatic, got some mods, but in the market now to get the same year 06' only used manual. Just curious if I should buy used. Have you guys had any problems with your used tC, And if so what? Do you guys think it would be a bad idea to go used, because then in turn I could be buying someone elses problems. But in turn theres always carfax, besides its a toyota and only a year old. I dont know just got those qeustions and looking for some answers from people that have the experience already. If anybody could just help me with this, that would be great. Thannks A lot for the help.

I would not think you would get much better deal on used than new unless you do a lot of searching.

new may probably be a cheaper alternative.

IMO, the first 1000 miles are the most important miles.
If i dont know that a car has been broken in properly, i will not buy or even look at it if im making an investment of the sort.

I always thought new=better

new car smell
3 free oil changes
and the peace of mind that nobody has messed with the engine or whatnot (you never know)

difference in price is not that much maybe even more for a used than a new, because the include the Toyota certified used ( i was told that at the dealer when i was looking for my car and asked why a used cost more than a new)

i've seen different threads of 07' tc owners wondering if parts fit their cars like headers, intakes and stuff, i think they just have to wait a lil for the manufacturers to make stuff fit the 07( i guess ) but then again i have an 06 so i dont know

if you buy new, dealers will probably be able to cut you a deal nowadays considering that the 07's are arriving in force. they'll be wanting to push the 06's out the door to make room!
