I'm sorry to say I don't think i'm going to make it. My wifes grandmother has become very ill and the doctors don't expect her to make it through the night. There will be other guys coming with their Focuses, i'm just not going to be able to make it personaly. I apologize since I was the one who started this whole thing and if she makes a turn for the better I will be there ,but thing just don't llok good right now.Once again i'm sorry and I hope we can do this again before the season is over. that was a good night guys... It was nice meeting some of you.. Wish i could have gotten some better times but i wasnt able to control my traction problem.. .. my best was 13.74 @104.52 i guess ill see you again at exposed...

Traction wasn't a problem for me - being completely stock with an auto was though, best of only 16.69 @ 81.73 - YIKES!!! I did bang the tree on that run though, .525 reaction time - so I was quick, to go slow.....I guess.

haha.. yeah apparently i feel asleep at the wheel.. I thought i was racing the red car next to me.. SO i wated for him.. then i found out i was racing the trans am.. then i go through the VHT box.. burn out.. get to the tree.. two yellow lights.. then i roll forward to far. try to put it in reverse.. and the light turns green.. i was like !@#$%^& o noooo!!.. so reaction time was 1.023.. or something horrible like that.. that was my only run.. o an another thing.. u know how u guys where saying burn out by dumping the clutch well. i did.. i am sure u guys saw a little smoke.. what happened was i heard the usual grunting noise the ebreak makes in the back.. as you try and do a burn out from a stnad still. and i guess they were smoking.. and i usually can feel them spin.. but i have new tires on and i thought they were not spining so i said screw it.. 2 seconds later i see smoke.. i was like damn.. should have kept going.. but i guess it was good enough,, , i slammed 1st gear.. and zeron wheel hop a first.. and non in second.. so that was good.. so for ____ty reaction time .. i got a 16.2@88 mph... the intresting thing about that.. i have had a 16.1@84 MPH.. i am not sure why my MPH was faster this time around.. if i didnt have to work tonight i would have made more runs.. only one.. i am deffinately going back up there this coming Wed. night.

What was everyone's best time? I'm sorry I didn't make it. I was on my way there but when I got to NH, I got lost. I tried to call some people but I didn't have a signal and guess what. My phone F@$%ing died on me. Does anyone have an extra sprint phone that they don't want. My phone doesn't even recharge properly. Friday night/saturday morning around 230 am. I saw a Black Sand Pearl or Flint Mica tC spinned out on the grass on 93 north around exit 6. I tried to stop and see if I know the person but the state police didn't let me. Does anyone who spinned out that night. I know there is alot of people with those colors in the state of mass but there is a chance we might now them.

yeah, my college roommate is most likely getting a job with the company so Im going to get 2g's from him. But Ill prob use that for either a lip kit and paint, 2-tone, or some sort interior/seat upgrade.

if it were me.. and i had those choices i would pick wo tone color. Bcause not many xb have that.. It would set you appart in a class of your own.

yeah, I want to do the lexus style two tone with some sort of bronze/gold or silver bottom and leave the top white. would prob have to get rid of the cF stuff but I love the contrast it gives on the white. idk, ill see what I really do when I have the check in my hands three months from now (my roomie has to work for minimum 3 months before I get the check).

No.Those guys were from the Focus site. The yellow one died at the line. His coil pack came unplugged,then he smoked his clutch. Neither of those guy were SVTs. One was a modded zx3 and the red one was an ST. My car is Competition Orange.Thanks guys for all the kind words for my family

That 1st run was against "Tantrum", a professional, high budget, chopped 57 Chevy, with a huge full blown big block.

The light changed, I punched it, I heard this explosion of sound and a roar in the other lane, and a second later he was half way down the track. Ask Tom, he saw the car. big money there, and I really think he was holding back on the run I did against him.

ok guys... all you stock or mildly modded tc... i think you guys got good times.. if you can get what car and driver magazine say the car can do.. It means that you drive as good as the people who work for a car magazine. So from me to you guys good job... but you have to understand the limitations to you car and the mods that you make to it... ... i feel that i am really lucky to have a f/i tc.. cause the car is so much fun... but i love my car just like everyone here and if it was completely stock i would be pround of my times cause i made them in a car that i like and that i own... fact of the matter is people that get paid to race cars cause thats what they do... and to compare yourself to them is wrong... they have the gift to drive.. and we have the gift to drive a nice car... thats what it is... so like me i hope everyone has fun driving there tc,xb,and xa ... and the rush of going down the 1320... hoping for a better time then last.. thats is what makes us happy and thats why we all get along... we are car nuts, tuners, or whatever you want to call us.. but in the end we just love our cars and others have to deal with it.

I don't post much and haven't made it to any meets yet. Was/am big on the Subaru forums (all 3 former cars were Subarus). Would like to start meeting some Scion people, and it would be fun to run the car a bit at the track with others.

I've only autoxed it so far, will be doing high performance driver education event at NHIS on Oct 21st which should be real cool. If I get some 1/4 runs in, all event types will be complete before the snow tires go on. Then we head to the frozen lakes. :)

According to the schedue online they show the last "street night" as Oct. 27th (friday), and they have open test sessions both Sat Oct. 28th and 29th. They don't have any dates in November on the schedule, so that might be the last weekend the track is open.

I might be able to do something that weekend, but I'm not 100% sure.
