What kind of courses does this raceway have? I want some courses with corners. Srt8ways are getting old to me real fast. I want to take it up a level.

After personally viewing the video evidence, I would concure that davedave did miss a shift, or just totally fell asleep at the light.

One great thing with an Auto, no missed shifts. Just a lil slower than standards. I'm not worried though, it's all in fun.

I agree with that observation! :rofl: Dave is known to fall asleep on many occasions. When I was talking to his girlfriend, i think she mentioned that at some point... :rofl:

DUDE, those are fighting words. We'll work together and give davedave an introductory lesson in time management skills. Not sure it will keep him from falling alseep, but it will help him stay focussed and on track during his waking moments.

I showed up at Dennis Car Car last night with a large supreme pizza, and john and I put the car on the lift and started working together puting the lights on. I went ahead and cut away a little of the plastic under pan, then removed the tow loop from the cross member. That way there is a perfect indent where the tube fits in nicely. Too bad one of the side tubes arrived shattered, so we weren't able to complete the work. The new tube was shipped out this morning, and we'll do it this week, or next, and add the new halo headlights as well.

It's $19 to race, last I checked... I'm not sure they offer video services, but most of the time there's a pretty good photographer up there, no idea on what he charges for prints.

Are you sure they do't test right away in NH? I just know I'm f'ed if I get tested and fail... If I avoid it until I know someone will pass me, life is easier... except gas in the v8 Mountaineer is killing me.


And uh, avoid the Megan Drift-Spec with the MMW.... trust me. lol.

Where can I a LSD (Limited Slip Differential) for the TC?there is no point to do a 1/4 mile run with out it. The Tc has bad traction and that will kill us on 1/4 mile

I'm not sure. I know one guy is turboed, but I don't think he is going to make it. I'm trying to get a friend of mine who has a 92 vw jetta gli with a 1.8t swap to come up with us. If he comes i'm sure he'll line up with you. I'm not sure what times he is running. He just completed the swap and the car is not dynoed and has never hit the track. I drove it and it is sick fast. I smoked the tires all the way through 3rd.

if you search on SL, you will find a bunch of threads talking about the supposed "chips" from eBay. They either, dont do anything or mess up your engine because your running pig rich. From what Ive read, its not something you necessarily want to put on your car, although having it on for a few runs prob wont do anything bad. It will prob be similar to having an o2 sensor being bad and the car running rich.

Jeff remember I told you I might have to go to NJ and help my cousin move up here this weekend? Well I'm trying to get out of it saying my car is to small to be moving stuff for NJ to MA. I want to go to the track this friday and blow up my exhaust again, lol. If i have help him move then i can't going.

well the tc is to small to help move.. even with the seats down you cant stack things too high.. maybe a tv and pillows thats about it .

You should get that one Cess. I think its the best sounding exhaust out there, although it only an axle-back and prob will sound like p00p with a header too.

I have a can thats been in my room for like 2 years. If I could get a stock exhaust and cut the tip part that mates with the midpipe, I would have him make me an exhaust for the xB. That way, its just a few bolts to go back and forth from stock, in case Im going on a long trip and dont want the drone.

I cant remember what the place is called. i think its just Hanover Custom Exhaust. Here's the number: (781) 826-2779. He quoted me about $80, but I already had a canister muffler. This was only for an axle back exhaust and included, labor, piping, and 1 year warranty. Call them and make sure thats what hes charging now though....

no, but if you take into account that he quoted me @ $80 for an axle back, and a full exhaust is probably twice the work, then 160-180 sounds about right. But you should call and ask. Maybe it really is labor intensive to make a full cat back and the price is much higher. doesnt hurt to call and ask. your tC would def be sweet with S/C and a full Cat back to match.

if you do a 13.99 or faster yes have a helmet... it has to be DOT and SNELL 95 and newer... i have one in my car at all times... lol
