The dealership wants to charge me $80 for a new sun visor (yes the flap above the steering wheel)
The original one is broken. All the parts places I see online only deal in engine parts or more popular parts.
Any ideas?

I could count on one hand how many times I have used my visor.

I know but it bugs me because it sags down sometimes and wont stay in place.

I agree, that would be annoying...and dangerous.

Mine did the same thing in my tC too! I made the dealer replace it under warranty after arguing with them about. I was like "how in the world do you abuse a sun visor???" Then when I went to go pick up the new one, they wouldn't let me pick it up from the parts department, they said I had to set up a service appointment, ( for a freaking sun visor? I was like F no!" I made them put it on right in the service drive! But yeah, that is a pain in the butt. Your warranty is already gone on your tC?

The orig. warranty is gone-- I just passed 43k (I have the extended warranty but evidently its a whole 'nuther kind of coverage).
The visor doesnt fall down all the way, but I still dont plan on putting up with it. And im not paying the dealer for a new one. The one on the TRD site you mentioned says it wont work with side airbags--which I have. I suppose I could just not use the extension and stay 'safe' but if possible Id love to find an exact replacement.
Thanks for the responses

It says it won't work, but I also have the side airbags and I have the 07 visors on.
