TRD springs are fine with stock struts. That will make it handle a little better.

You need a stiffer rear sway or a set of sways (front and rear) to reduce body roll. That is the purpose of the sways. I run the TRD springs, stock shocks and trd rear sway. A million times better than stock.

I installed a Progress rear sway bar and it pretty much eliminated any body roll.

front strut and rear 4 point strut bar - get both of them and you will see a huge difference. simple as that. I would do that first instead of springs (first). Then go from there. I have had the trd springs since day1 (at the dealer) and the front and rear strut bar made a hugggeeeee difference. ....like night and day.

You could save your spring money and get coilovers! We here at B&G are working on setting up a group buy for everyone (tC, xA, and xB) for an outstanding price on our newest line of coilovers! They will be here in a matter of weeks, I have them on my tC and they rock so much. I couldn't stand the stock ride (roll to be specific), but with lowering you do eliminate a ton of that! Depends how low you go of course. I am pretty slammed on my 18's now. You can also adjust the dampening on them so that helps a lot for cornering. We just got our final stage prototype sway bars in, front and rear, for the tC too! Coilovers will make a world of difference! Plus they have a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser...so you won't have to deal with the headaches that you would with lowering springs on stock shocks!

The exact numbers aren't out yet... but generally it starts at a 1.5" drop. That's really not very low. On my tC I can slam as low as I want to about 5" in the front and 4" in the rear, but those are not the official posted numbers, and that's on stock 17's. It varies with wheel/tire/offset combos. 1.5"-4" is a pretty safe estimate as of right now. I can give you exact numbers, it's just a matter of getting my car back on the lift, taking some measurements, and posting!

installing a tubo kit will make your car heavier thus lowering it. if that's why you posted here...

thats my point - it would be nice for a company to come out with performance coilovers that are less then 1.5drop - i think thats too low for the horrible roads in the nj/ny area.

H&R drop about -0.75" F/R at the top adjustment (according to my measurements).

best way to lower and reduce body roll at the same time, while ur down there, is trd shocks AND struts. when i got mine done, it elminated about 60% of the body roll. after that add some hotchkis sways and even more body roll will be gone.
