While I am waiting for my xA to get to the dealership, I was wondering how long it took everyone else to get theirs. I ordered mine monday, and I guess I will be getting it end of next week, beginning of following week. anyway, its driving me crazy.

I just ordered mine and they said six to twelve weeks.

I ordered mine in APRIL and I still haven't gotten it. They're expecting it in August...is it so much to ask for side airbags, manual, and black?

i've only been waiting for two weeks but the sales guy said it could take 4-6 weeks from time of order.

I ordered a Phantom Grey 5spd xA and they told me it would take 2 months to get. Since I didn't have a car I couldn't wait that long so I got a Black Sand Pearl xA with alloys. I'm happier I got the black one actually, black seems more rare.

ordered the gray, mt, with side airbags back in May. the dealer finally called yesterday to say that they don't if that combination with ever be sent to the northwest. we can pick up a silver one that's on the lot, but we're just not sure we want to compromise. Is there anyone who has stuck it out and waited past two or three month mark? Anybody outside of California who has been able to snag a car with airbags?

Threre is a gray mt at my dealership in Pittsburgh, don't know about the side airbags, but really, be a man.

I just found out that I'm not getting mine until august now. I guess two weeks means a month in scionese.

Is all your paperwork complete? Have the dealership cashed your down payment if any? Has your loan already started as if you own the vehicle? If the vehicle arrives and you do not want it because say...... high miles or scratches in the paint do you have the option to ask for another?

Okay, I'm detecting a pattern here. Are they only making, say, a grand total of three with side airbags?

I'm guessing they thought nobody would want side air bags. It's such a tiny car, that I would definitely have bought them, but they told me the wait could be 3 or 4 months.

I have side airbags on mine and I was able to get it right away. 2 caveats though. I waited a couple months to get a 05 model. Second I comprimised on the color. I really wanted an indio ink manual with sides, but I had a coice of mica and white if I wanted it now. I decided air bags was more important than color to me, plus White and Mica happen to be my backups anyway. I got a 05 Manual Silver Streak Mica with Side-Air bags.

I got my car yesterday. It only took 5 days (orignal waiting time was supposed to be 6 to 12 weeks), but that was because my dealer was able to make a trade with another dealer. Hopefully I will get my accessories installed tomorrow.

My girlfriend's xA has side impact bags. She refused to purchase the car w/o them. We waited about 3 weeks for her car to arrive. The other option the car had was cruise, so we went ahead and purchased it. We weren't crazy about buying the cruise at first, but now she loves it.

I went in and got mine off the lot. It's much easier to purchase an xA with auto and no accessories than others.
