You never have to wax the hardest part of the car to wax, the roof.

That is a good point, but I always do wax the glass on any rides that I clean.

 

Actually, waxing and buffing the windows is a pretty good idea every now and then. It helps get rid of some of the tiny fleks in the glass, and makes rain bead off it. That's pretty much what Rain-X is, just a diluted wax, as I understand it.
