Yeah, I've seen those in person on some guy's xB at the FL Scion meet. bBist used to sell them, but I don't think the manufacturer is making them anymore. Also, the quality didn't look that good, either..imo. If I got them, I'd have to clean them up some how (poorly molded?)

IMO...they fade after a while. Mine looks nothing compared to a brand new set side by side.

If you buy them, make sure to keep your stock headlights.
every aftermarket headlight set I have bought aged very poorly.
The plastic on a set I had got thousands of tiny cracks on the outside lense.

i feel the same way. are there any JDM headlights with projectors? i heard in the near future headlights with hid that aren't factory made will be illegal. well at least in california make sure all you people look into this isn't not worth the ticket.

Actually, these headlights were only made for Japan. bBist had brought these in from Japan and we found out that the corner light sockets were different. The beams are much dimmer with any aftermarket projector headlight so HID's would be a better choice.

Keep in mind guys, aftermarket HID sales are illegal. Be wary where you may purchase these kits from!

Those are the new bB factory light, most of them come in HID from factory which cost about $820, sometimes possible to fine the regular one for around $400, Sean

So.....can you install a set of the new bB HIDs and be considered legal?
They aren't exactly "aftermarket" since they are stock on our Japanese counterpart.

The HID's must be a US DOT authorized OEM part. You just don't want to be caught selling or buying these. If you get them without being caught, your in the clear. No one can give you a ticket for already having them on you car.
