They do the wheel covers so you can get whatever aftermarket rims you want, and keep the steelies for winter!

I wish it would have been a better color. IMO, there are better non-Release colors than a light metallic blue. The only really good thing is likely to be the body-kit. The seats might look better as well.

IMO, the RS 1.0 is still by far the best RS with the red color and the sunroof. I would love a sunroof.

I'm glad they at least released one though.

yes they color was the first thing release way back when, i think it was called stingray metallic.

and IMO, for now it sounds like a kickin RS. i dont mind the color selection as much now that it comes with a "kenstyle developed front and rear bumpers"

and steelies w/wheel covers is a good idea cause even if they were real "rims " they would get changed out and wasted $$$$

i like the silver xA that is about 1/2 way down page one. the kit thats on the RS3 doesnt look very aggressive...i almost prefer stock.

I think those are the exact same wheel covers that are on my RS3.0 xB. Haven't changed mine out yet.

and i dont see why everyones so worked up about it haveing covers, most who will buy them would change out the rims anyway why pay extra for what your not gonna use?

From the 2 pics (HERE (http://pressroom.toyota.com/Images?criteria=06xASeries3)) i've seen, the color actually looks nice and stealthy but I still have mixed feelings about this RS. I'm not sure how to feel about it yet, i've gotta see more angles and see it in person.

I just want the bumbers or lip kit or whatever it is. Will scion let you order these parts do you think. I want a kenstyle kit for my 06 badly.

You're right, the side skirt really doesn't flow with the front and rear bumper.

Y'know... it looks like someone screwed up the photoshop job. It's WAY too low... that would be broken off before you left the parking lot.

In addition. What does it mean the interior matches the exterior or whatever? I absolutely hate the dashboard material in the xA's. Does this mean it's a different material? Or just the seats are changed. I guess I'll have to take a look.

Still pondering purchasing one of these xA's but it's a toss-up between the xA and a Civic Si Hatchback...

when it means matching interior, all it is, is that a color matching thread is weaved into the fabric material that they use for the seats and door accents (not the floor and ceiling).

so instead of being a weave of black and random gray or whatever it is, it will be a weave of black and the same light blue.

Looks like Scion has finally put together a nice package for the RS3.0 xA. A nice set of wheels and a mild to moderate drop and this would be one sweet looking egg. :clap:

I just bought my first Scion today. It's a Flint mica xa. I really like it a lot but wasn't crazy about the color selection which I felt was kind of limited. I think Scions would look cool in two tone. Especially the xa. Kind of like the mini-cooper. It would be great if there were several color selections for both roof and body. Whadda ya all think?

that would make it way mor complicated then what Toyota wants with the Scion line of vehicles.

For some reason i'm thinking the paint job will chage color depending on angle and light. in good light the light blue, in darker light bluish grey.
Seriously though, we need to see some real pics. Someone on the scion.com website needs to release the actual shots to the public.

its official, deland toyota salesmen are dumb. i went in asking about the rs3, they said that the design still isnt definite, and that the production wont start for another 3 months. w/e. retards.

it frustrated me cause i work for longwood lincoln mercury and deland toyota is part of the same automotive group so i know people over there and i had to go to the head advisor, the guy who puts his john hancock on all the paper work, to say that im interested in an rs3 and he, not a salesman hooked me up. he said he could likely get a hold of one of the first 100 i hope

Spotted a car carrier about an hour ago headed East on the 210 FWY. On it along with a few boxes and tC's was an RS3---could not mistake its nose. Had to be heading to the High Desert or on to Vegas as there are no dealers that far North and East in the LA Basin.

Yea the sunroof was a nice touch. That is one of the reasons why I bought the car, and the Absolutely Red really stands out. I love my car!!! :love:

I laid eyes on one of these elusive critters myself this weekend. The color is nice, nowhere near what you would call 'eye catching', but for a car that you would want to just blend in with. The front lip really looks good on this car! I am impressed that Scion could pull it off as neatly as they did! It looks like it was molded on, not an add on. The rear panel is there. nothing that jumps out at you or anything...you will be behind this car and look and say 'Something looks different..."
The interior looks like the one in my 05 , just a little lighter.. instead of grey specs in the black fabric, there are light grey specs in the black fabric.....not a big difference.
The LTD Edition badge is at the driver's knee, where whoever is Armor All-ing the dash will see it, but not many others will.
There are no door sill treatments, that was a let down, nothing that tells anyone other than another xA owner that this car is special. And since there are so few of us that really pay attention to the xA, that is sad.

While at my Scion dealer yesterday, having my charcoal canister replaced, and the TSB updates that correct the defects in that system done, I decided to get some excercise and walk around my dealers lot (acres of cars), and check out his Scion inventory. Much to my surprise, he had 4,yes 4, xA RS 3.0 models on the lot: 3 were auto, 1 was 5 speed man. I figured since they made so few of them, and they have been out since early Oct., they all would have been long gone by now! I also noticed he had a good selection of regular 06 xA's, as I was told they are trying to build sufficient inventory to last as the last of the 06 xa's come off the line this month and the new xD's are still several months away.

Hehe, I would not want one of these. Even the lip kit is almost unnoticeable. I have seen a them about 3 times at the dealership and to me it's boring looking. Even the color is so 70's with a small tint of metallic. Sort of nice but I think it's a generic color. Sort of a color a teen girl might get. Sky Blue?

Wowe was that a rant!?!?! hehe, I wish there was more OEM lip kits for us xA owners since I had to go Order IST lip kits. Much cooler kit and cheaper.

My local dealer has 2 RS 3.0's, they've had them for about a month. They have the most Scions that I've ever seen them have and they're a small dealer. I'd say they have about 6 xA's, 4 xB's and 4 TC's. They had no xA's when I was shopping this summer.
