I currently have my car wired to admit a gaming console. I did this in such a way so as to make them swapable, but in thinking about it, will I even put in a next gen console?

Here's what I've come up with.

XBox 360 - Huge...probably hard to find a secure place to do even a "temporary" mount. Power supple may overheat in a parked car/car show environment

PS3 - Expensive. I'd be paranoid about walking away from my car, be it locked or at a show.

Wii - I'd likely smash my rear view mirror off playing games with this. That, or if my passenger is playing while I drive during a road trip, I could get punched in the face.


Just some random thoughts running through my mind people. Any other thoughts you guys have on this?

That's true =) Even an SUV or minvan with kids flailing about would make me hysterical.

i cant wait for Wii..im looking forward to that more then any of the otther next-gen stuff...im waiting for GT5 before i look at a PS3. and 360 doesnt do anything for me

I want the Wii and the PS3. I'd play the Wii games with some wrist weights just to say I exercised....I'd play the PS3 games drunk =P

i plan to get a wii the move my PS2 into my box...i think Wii is going to be BIG and really get nintendo back up to where it should be. They make money of every Wii they sell...not jsut on on games and such as sony and microsoft

I can't for the Wii(I still hate the name). I've been a Nintendo fan boy since I got my NES as a kid. I've bought gameboys, GBA's, GBA Sp's, DS'. Everything. Sad thing is, I've kept them all. I should dig them out and take pictures.

Semi-OT update on the Wii. It's dropping on November 19. MSRP of $249.99. Looks like I'm going to pre-order mine tomorrow.
