We have two Scion dealers in my town. One does NOT put dealer ID on the car and my dealer said it was corporate policy that my car had to leave the lot with dealer ID. Is the other dealer just more thoughtful or is there a policy?

This made me mad because I had to take off the decal and tag frame myself.

Don't know if it's CORPORATE policy, maybe dealership though.

Nothing to get worked up over though. 2 screws hold the frame on and 2 minutes with a heat gun takes the sticker off - or no heat gun and 15 seconds on an already hot day. Done.

That is a dealership policy. I normalling put them on the vehicle unless a customer requests not to have them before he takes delivery. :D

Our dealership has frames which we put on the cars sometimes. I rock the frames front and rear because I work there so I represent.

It just goes to show you that the dinosaurs are still in charge at car dealerships. Who else would have the nerve to slap some cheap sticker on a car I just handed over $15K for? It's not representing, it's free advertising.

Look, if I have a good dealer I'll let everyone know. You don't need your name all over my car. And if you're a lousy dealer then do you really want people asking me about you?

Nobody else does this - my house doesn't have the name of the builder stenciled on the roof, my suit doesn't have some store's name plastered across the back of the jacket. The Scion Way should specifically prohibit dealers from stickering my new Scion.

My xB came with a tag frames front and back, but I took them off . I hate the dealers name on my cars.

Almost all dealers will take the stuff off if you just ask. Some dealers might tell their people not to, although it seems silly to me. If they don't, just do it yourself. I took the stickers off both of my cars, but leave the plate frames on since they cover the bare metal edge of the plate.
