Default traded my TC for a G35.....sorry!

Well, family is growing so the tC is no more. Got a 2003 Black G35 sport sedan. It's really nice, and it has tons more power than my silver bullet ever thought about. However, I do miss my scion, maybe in the future I can get another one. I'll post pics soon.

Don't feel bad...I love my tC too but as soon as the Audi TT-Lamo is released, she's gone.

****, don't be sorry. If funds allowed, I would have gone G35, 350Z, then Scion. Child support comes 1st, and I drive a Scion. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving it

Congratulations on your G35!
I've been thinking about getting a 350Z myself.

Great choice on the G35! If I could afford it, I'd buy one too...

I think the Z and G35 are cars that most tC owners would've taken at first if the money was right. The tC is definitely a stepping stone kind of car.

That's exactly what I wanted... G35's are so damn sexy.

If my insurance wasn't $400+ a month I would have gotten one!

G35 sounds like a great sleeper car-Great power, but blends in more than a 350Z would...Nice styling-looks lean and sharp...

I might get flamed for this, but last spring I traded my 05 SW TC, for a 2001 BMW 325XI, automatic, all wheel drive...It was a sweet car, silver w/ black leather, heated seats, xenon headlights...The only option it didn't have, was the 5-speed manual transmission...The auto-manual was kind of fun, but even with the power and handling, I still missed having a 5-speed.....The other thing was that the BMW had 52K miles, and the first oil change I got cost over $80, and I started to read in BMW forums about all the problems the E46 has had, including crappy window regulators failing, bad coils, electrical problems, and add to that my own experiece with VW repair issues, I decided to trade the BMW after about 2 months, for a 2006 FM TC...

At some point I might get another BMW, but it will be a manual, and probably a coupe instead of a 4-door...The reason I bought the 325 in the first place, was that I used to have a rare 85 735i with a manual trans, that was a great car, that I sadly killed by hitting a parked car while driving on icy roads..

My insurance went down a whole $6/month with the switch from a g35 coupe to a tc! And he has a sedan so I would imagine they would be about the same. MPG is around 17-19 for an average driver.

You'll love the G35, though you got the sedan, which isn't as nice IMHO, the whole feel of the car is great! I bet it wasn't that expensive either, first year they were out, its a sedan. With an average of 12k miles a year it might have 36k miles, i bet it was around $23,000....no?
