I'm buying my first brand new car. I have a 35 minute commute every day, and figured that I'd rather put my money into a new car that will keep running and get me to work than a used one that will both waste time getting repaired and money for the repairs.

Anyway, have any of you had any problems with your Scion xa's yet? No matter how small. I'm gonna be paying this thing off for like 6 years if I don't refinance once I have a better paying job, so once I get it I'm stuck with it. Do you know if all the kinks got worked out in the Japanese versions?

At almost 6000 miles, the only complaint I have is the air conditioning (surprised Cybergypsy didn't say it! *gasp*). Here in Florida, it gets real hot during the day. I have to roll down all the windows and let the hot air out while the a/c starts to cool the cabin. By the time I'm out of my neighborhood (about a minute), I can roll up my windows and everything is cool. I'm guessing there is just a lot of air that hasn't reached the vents. When it's hot and you blast the air, all the hot air has to be moved out. *shrug* I guess I'm used to American cars... Other than that, I love my xA.

I have rattle in the silver-ish panel on my driver side door when I'm driving and my radio is "bumpin'". When I get my oil changed (either today or tomorrow), I'll get it looked at.

Also, I don't know of any kinks... You should be a-okay with everything.
