i can't wait for it to get here! i've heard it before and the HKS definately sounds the best on the tC.

any suggestions on which mod to do next? i've been thinking about changing the header next.

if you need grip get better tires! getting some sticky tires will be more benficial then any suspension upgrade you could think of.

Change the header PLEASE and post up a sound clip of it... It'll be AWESOME...

The HKS is great without a header, but add a header and it's one of the most horrible sounds you've ever heard.... makes a guy driving a civic crx hatch with an ebay exhaust cringe....

There's got to be a downside...

^if you get the header...make sure to get a resonator and it will sound beautiful again. But without the resonator...Honda POS! Anywhoo, the HKS is a great exhaust...not much power but none of the exhausts (including full systems) show enough of a noticeable power gain anyway...but it does sound the best! If you want an even better sound, pair it with the Injen CAI! Congrats on the new mod and welcome to the empty wallet club!

Only downside is that if you go spipe and midpipe, you'll either need a turbo setup to kill the noise as it'll be even worse than just running a a header alone with the exhaust...... which will be repulsive, or add a large resonator, which again, kills flow a bit... The tC is a pain to get to sound good N/A... it has a major rasp problem...

i'm going with the injen CAI and Alphawerks header and i was thinking about doing a CC s-pipe and getting a local muffler shop to make a custom 2.5" mid with a magnaflow resonator

and yes, thanx for the welcome to the empty wallet club, lol!

300 min?

I'd suggest you get a 36 inch resonator and you should be somewhat good to go...

got pulleys/flywheel yet? They help as well...

not yet, those are also future mods

which pullys and flywheel would you recommend?
also, is it worth getting a fuel/engine management system before getting a turbo?

If you want to stay N/A, you won't get enough for the cost out of Management unless you upgrade the head or Throttle Body so add that to the savings fund for F/I

I've got all the NST pulleys on my tC, the UD crank, LW Water Pump, and OD alternator, but if you want to go conservative and not ALL out... you can also just swap out the Crank with a much lighter pulley from many of the guys on here.... Including ZPI as well.

Fidanza is the flywheel for me... just going to do that when my clutch dies, which should be soon enough with all the new power coming...
