Default Calling all Kaminari kit owners.

Hey guys,

I just wanna see who else has the problem with the kaminari rear bumper sides not clipping to the claw? I've had this kit for 5 months now and the first month it was fine then it just decided to unclip and not stay on! I know of a couple in this site who has the same problem. I was thinking of filing a claim to kaminari but I wanna check first if anybody found a way to fix this defect. Any input on how to fix this will really help. I'll see if I could post some pics of the bumper. Thanks in advance.

Urethane. My body guy told me that it unclips because of the hot weather so the urethane streches/flexes. anybody?

I have major problems with mine all over. Totally not happy. The sides I have problems with to but I was able to fix mine. I promised you pictures before but I will get some this time. What I did was screw through the inside of the rear fender well into the clip of the bodykit. It is holding it nicely. I need to do the other side now.
I am having problems with my sideskirts now. The doublesided tape they provided isnt sticking anymore so the door started kitting the kit and the paint is peeling. I blame it partly on the shop that painted it. Another shop wants $500 to stip and repaint the sides. Or $250 to spray if I prep them. I am going to just buy new side skirts and have them painted and install them.

Also my paint did chip as well and where my door closes on the driver side it rubs. I blame the dealer cause they did but now i dunno.

I will post of pictures of the bumper and the sideskirts. I really am dissapointed with my car right now. Its very noticable when you see black on the side skirts. I have a car show this sunday and feel dumb going to it.
