Default Interior dash light always on

When the lights are on the dashboard compartment light below the stereo is on constantly. Is there anyway to shut off this light or disable it?

You can run a switch to the bulb or take it out completely. Its pretty easy to get to it.

Have you tried putting a piece of black electrical tape over it?

Get an LED bulb, perhaps blue or white, or amber even... and it'll make it cooler!

I got blue to match my light bars, and I don't have an issue with it at all.

talking about replacing an interior light and suddenly he posts this????
what exactly is this post regarding? Is the interior of your tc drastically
different than everyone else's? And how exactly does showing a pic of
the exterior going to help answer your original question about the interior?

Yeah I posted it so fricken what?
Hello, if you read the title then you would know what this Thread is about.
Why would my interior be drastically different from anyone else?
Showing a pic of the exterior does not help answering anything about the original question so thanks for the input but its not needed.
Why dont you give some positive input and try and help me out... or are you just one of type of posters who looks for things to talk bad about... damn go find some other thread to talk bad about and leave this one alone

Unless it gets back on track. How many posts already that have went off topic?

I have no problems with the cubby light being on all the time. I think it's quite neat. I drive with my courtesy lights on 24/7, rain, shine, apocolyps, they're on. But changing the color of it would be really neat. I wanna find some interior lighting myself. But they wont go in til maybe winter '08

why so long from now? seriously, oznium ftw dude. you can get a complete interior lighting setup for under $100 including the cost of wiring, connectors, and tools from local shops. it's not expensive at all :-P
