Well, We are here and checked into our rooms. The am crew caught up to the 3 am ALMOST. We got to Roswell 15 minutes after them. DOnt ask me why....

Roswell Scion is first rate delaership and looks amazing. All Brand New and everyone is great!! Check in was easy, thye wanted to make sure that we all knew we were going and if we needed anything. Roswell also made their detail bay available to us which was great after all the bugs we got on the road, plus locusts and butterflies all over the front end.

Big Props goes out to Roswell Scion and everyone putting this on. Everything has been great and created a lot of excitement for tomorrow.

Well we are on our way to our first adventure, going to meet up with the rest of the crew, on the patio of a bar with a live band. Should be interesting!!!

9 ish NM time, most of the cars are washed and cleaned. The locust are a blast, tons of fun cleaning them off the cars. Rosewell has done a great job welcoming us, getting us signed up and off to our hotels.

It looks like a meet in the parking lot, the Hampton blocked us spots so we can all park together, cars are being cleaned. I will keep you posted.

all the cars WERE clean at Hampton Inn... they started mowing the dirt behind where we parked... lots of work to do tomorrow to get the cars back to the way they were.... :tap: :tap: :tap: :tap:

Gets better Soupy! I looked out my window and I have seen him do two or three passes around the cars. What he has to farm or mow at 10 PM is beyond me!!! :loser:

Radar detectors keeps slowing us down! Dang it! We keep having slow dow to 75mph in a 45 zone.

Arrive to roswell only 15 minutes after the first group. Not bad for leaving three hours after the first group.

Well the trip has just ended for me and I think most are home by now, safe I hope. We had a little issue with a Jaguar and Dodge Ram truck on the way up from Tucson, but I think we all survived.

I learned a few things.

yeah, a few of us learned a few things too...like people aren't always nice enough to tell other people that plans are changing. :tap: yeah, it was nice to be getting out of the shower at a little after 9 NM time to find out that most of the group had just bounced out on us. especially after the night before some of us had talked about leaving at around 11ish. thanks guys. we appreciated it :nope:

but whatever, we had a great time heading back. as we were leaving the gas station just before we got on the freeway to start heading back we met up with 3 cars from cali and caravanned with them the whole way. they are awesome people. mr. sparkle, hawaiianbuilt, and surfcitylocal...you guys rock :bow: thanks for staying with us the whole time. hope you have a good stayover in phx.

all in all the show was awesome. definitely going back next year. like everybody else was saying though...control those damn kids. one of those kids kicked the rear bumper of an xb that was right next to kiss' box. and then after the show was over i saw a semi big crowd of those kids getting ready to start a fight...they were yelling at each other and talking sh*t and everything. like i said though, overall...awesome show! thanks roswell! and thanks roswell scion! :bow: :bow:

We learned a few things as well -

1. If you leave 2 hours earlier than the second group don't drive the speed limit, and if you drive with Jay don't stop at Mc Donalds :lalala: , because that is how they caught up to us.

2. Don't spend alot of time cleaning your car only to have some jerk mowing the dirt/grass behind you :gun: , but thats ok he will have a nice surprise for next time!!!! :lalala: :rofl:

3. Don't leave to set-up as early as everyone else, sleep in a little, this ensures you get the prime spot at the end.

4. HAVE AS MUCH DAMN FUN AS POSSIBLE :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:, but just remember not everything gets posted :P :P

yeah I'm with Nick, it was pretty dissapointing that everyone left when there was an obvious case of miscommunication that was no fault to N7 or Kiss that caused them leaving them behind. I think in the future if we go up as a group we should do our best to leave as a group. I understand that some had to get back right away like Kelly and Chad had to be on their way but I think that some (I'm not saying anyone in particular) but some could have stayed so it didn't end up being only 3 of us heading back.

I think it was awesome that everyone that stayed behind picked up the TP mess left in the parking lot from Kellys car, thank you for helping SCION owners keep a good image :clap: , as far as those who left the surprise for the lawnmower guy

I'm glad I stayed to be with them since we met up with the guys from Cali and you were some awesome people, had a great time playing movie line trivia. I think everything happens for a reason and found it totally awesome that when we met up at AZ mills to exchange radios that the GENERAL SALES MANAGER for AEM and DC happend to be sitting in the parking lot and pulled up to us. Thats right, he gave us all a business card and is going ot be sending us all hats and mentioned about discounts that are going to be made available to SCION owners. Once I send him an email he is going to reply with the information to post about the special.

THANK YOU to KISS, PHXLOCO, and KAHUNA for helping me transport my tiles, you have no idea how much that helped me. The suspension on my car from everything I had in it was just insane, on the way back i noticed it REALLY tilting to the right from the weight of the extra batteries and just ONE box of tiles on the right side. I had quite a bit of rubbing on the way back, need to go at my fenders with the Dremel again.

As far as the Good Image goes we as a group at the Hampton ---- Failed!! Yes we
had alot of fun BS'n in the parking, and yes it sucked that the man mowed the field at
that time of night, but to deposit your empty beverage bottles in the field and leaving
the trash in the lot DID NOT look good on our part. Does the Hampton Inn want us
back? From the feeling we recieved as we were leaving I think not. Yep - Chock
another one up for alcohol and the lack of common sense.

I am just glad it wasnt at the Marriott. If that would have got back to my hotel I would have gotten fired on the spot. Also seeing how some people treat things also makes it really hard for me to give any of you guys any more discounts on rooms knowing this is what happens, as well as possibly getting fired for someone else's mistakes!
