Anyone with an '05 Scion wanting a factory CD changer?

Does anyone here need a set of 18" wheels and tires?

And we have one more "special" for somebody that shows up wearing their favorite football team's jersey or shirt (Hat's won't count afterall). Hockey, baseball and basketball fans are certainly welcome to show their colors... they just can't win this one!

I hate having to get tough with you K, but you asked for it. For those of you that do not understand with SOME PEOPLE hate one team so much as SOME PEOPLE hate the Cowboys, here's a little history lesson (From the Eagles viewpoint) It will explain alot of the jealousy and frustration on their part.

51/40 - The Cowboys WON/LOST record against the Eagles in the regular season, including this year.

2/1 - The Cowboys WON/LOST record against the Eagles in the Play-offs

6 - The number of Eagles in the Pro Football Hall of Fame that played for the Eagles when they played the Cowboys.

3 - The number of Eagles that went into the Hall of Fame as Eagles and not their main team

9 - Number of Cowboys in the Hall of Fame from the same period, all of which were Cowboys and not "window dressing" like the Eagles play at. Three names of guys that made it to the HOF that the Eagles list on their website actually made it as player other teams. It's sad really but they do have the Cowboys to try to keep up with.

8 - The number of Super Bowl appearances by the Cowboys

5 - The number of Super Bowl wins the Cowboys have.

0 - The number of times Santa Claus has been assaulted at Texas Stadium.

(EDIT: This Just In!!)

24 - The number of seasons with the Cowboys winning 10 or more games since 1960.

18 - Number of seasons with 10 or more wins for the Beagles since 1933

394 - Number of wins in Dallas' History (since 1960)

465 - Eagles wins since 1933!! That's only 71 more wins in 28 additional years of existence!!!

Dallas has an all-time winning record. Philly DOES NOT!!!

And don't get me started on play-off appearances.

Hey... I CLEARLY stated that the Philidelphia Beagles do win some games sometimes. Heck, there were even a few years where they swept the 'Boys in a season.

I'm just trying to explain the fear and loathing other NFC East fans have for the Cowboys because it might seem unreasonable to others on the boards. They just need to see SOME of the fall-out from the rivalry. Then they can understand why other fans seem to SOAR so high on a single win in a single season. It's like their Super Bowl.

Don't make the Cowgirls out to be more important than they really are. The only reason we are so happy is because TO got his ___ handed to him. I would almost have even been ok with a loss to Dallas so long as TO sucked in the game. ;)

Who cares about one person. Leave that to the media.

According to stats from the Super Bowl history the Eagles have made it to the big game JUST twice. Guess what they lost both of them. Their first appearance wasnt until 1981 and they got killed by Oakland.

1933 Eagles inception and took almost 50 years to get there.

Cowboys made it to their first Big Game in 11 years.

Until the Eagles can win the Big Game they aint Sh*T.

Sure are the Eagles a better team this year than the Boys. I wont disagree with that. But this year isnt any different. Eagles will still be sitting on the hands trying to keep warm at seasons end watching the Super Bowl AGAIN. Maybe Mcnabb's Mom can make the whole team some Chunky Soup again this year!!

Great idea! Anyone up for it?

Some good friends I have been training in taekwon-do with for years have these big boxing gloves (HUGE oversized gloves). At least once a month we try and get together and have boxing matches in a friends garage. The only rule we have is "no kicks". Being all taekwon-do students we normally use our feet more than our hands so it makes for an interesting bout. You might think the big gloves don't hurt, but we had one guy get his nose broken last month.

I'm sure I can borrow the gloves for a Scion only tourney. It would be a blast!

JohnathonSull
10-13-2006, 06:09 AM
The only rule we have is "no kicks".

Last time I boxed we had only one rule. No hitting in the face, it was my first time boxing and we just where doing body shots. First punch was in my face, second punch was in my face, third punch was in my face... Ya, so that didn't last long considering I was 120lbs and my buddy was 245lbs, I haven't boxed since.

How did I miss all of this last night! Damn work!!!!!
Mark, some good points were made, but to comment on only one of them for now....the rest I will address in person this afternoon!

One of those three players you are referring to regarding the HOF is Reggie White and he is recognized as a Green Bay Packer, but if you remember who trully developed one of the best defensive players of all times, it would be Buddy Ryan and the Eagles!!!!! Not to mention they have a banner remembering the real #92 in the corner of the LINC.

Not to mention we actually have 12 players in the Hall of Fame that are associated with the Eagles and in this decade the Eagles have sent 41 players to the Pro Bowl, I couldn't find any stats on Dallas and the Pro Bowl this decade.....oh wait a minute, that's right......they have sucked for the last six years, that'w why they don't have any Pro-Bowlers. All Dallas can do is pick up the rejects. They got Bledsoe from NE, TO from Philadelphia, which is very fitting, just another Michael Irving and they had Keyshaun from who knows which team (hell, he has played for so many in his career, just like TO)! They couldn't even keep Keyshaun... That's okay Mark, you can just live in the past and us Eagles fans will live in this decade, thanks!

19xx (dont know when they where concieved) a ufo flew over various cities in our country zapping people from there houses into their ship. once in the ship the aliens wanted to test a brain transfer device so they sucked their brains out and replaced them with a dumber life form from another planet. the experimental brain transfer technology worked great so they released the humans but while releasing them the military spotted them so they made a deal with the government. make a football team tha will just suck really bad so they can continue testing and nobody will notice the players getting dumber cuz they're already dumb and can't score a touchdown to save their life, the team would be based in arizona so people can jus blame the heat as the source of the stupidity and the aliens would give the government all the alien porn they could have. government said ok so now we have the cardinals and with each new team member added the aliens comes back and performs another brain transfer test with the new team member.

Sometimes I wonder if they used this technology on some of my friends...

you forgot the part where they transfer the smart brain back in after the player leaves the Cardinals so they can play very well for their new team.

But, I still have to support Arizona's team no matter how bad they are. I am what you call a true Arizona Sports fan. I love the D-Backs, Suns, and the Coyotes.

I am a native and I use to support the Redskins, I still love them, but I have to support the home team. Go Cardinals!!!

Not to mention we actually have 12 players in the Hall of Fame that are associated with the Eagles...

At least Dallas has a past. Philadelphia has always been the bridesmaid and never the bride.

But, not to worry!. At least they look good in a dress.

And I was only counting Hall of Fame players in the Dallas era (since 1960)

Okay.... you got me there.

I'll just have to console myself with the 5 rings and the fact that, when Dallas dominates the series, it's because they are winning championships; when the Beagles dominate it's because the Cowboys are having bad years.

:lalala:

Oh... the Cowboys have had 7 Super Bowl MVPs in 8 games. The Flea-gles have????

The Cardinals are an upset team. The NFL is due for a major upset. I think the cards can do it if they can get the defence together. The have the tallent on the team, the just need to do something with it.

Cards win on Monday Night!!!

I think it is all up to the D on Monday. Leinart has proved that he can get the offense moving, it is just a matter of whether the D can stop da Bears. I hate to go against Arizona, well no I don't, but they aren't gonna get this one done. NIMO

I agree, there hasn't been a "WTH?" game yet this year. New QB has a little more time to get ready.

I worry about the loss of Fitzgerald though. Edge needs to have a game (total yards) and the D need to keep the Bears at 21 or less to win.

Special teams and big plays.

That was my fault. The drawing for the car payment was supposed to be predicated on wearing the sports stuff to enter. I had a real bad headache and ended up blowing the thing. I plan on making it up at the Christmas party meet meet in December. I was thinking we could have it the same day as the Vinyl Werks meet (Dec 16).

BTW, Vinyl Werks is going to reserve a block of the 100 spots for Scionetics members.
