Default Orlando Turbo Install?

Can anyone recommend a shop to install turbos? I'm contemplating getting a zpi stage 0 and whatever other parts it needs to work for my auto TC (fuel injectors, ecu, transmission cooler etc.). However I want to get an installation quote before I buy anything. Thanks.

I did a search on titan motorsports and I came across this thread -

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...sports#1734368

To sumamrize they wanted $1930 to install and tune another guy's greddy kit, which seems like a lot to me.

I heard of another place called Central Florida Turbo, I think I'll call them too and see.

I've never installed anything on a car and I didn't think this was the right project to learn on. And from what I have read in this thread-

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=140610

-you really need to retune your car after installing a turbo. At least for automatics.

It looks like there is a dezod kit that come with a "plug and play" e-manage + base map . . . maybe that would work out of the box.

Thats weird since Titan has a dyno at there shop and charges $500 an hour for dyno and tune time...

How much with kit and install are you looking to spend?

Originally I was hoping for $3500 or less until I found out you need extra parts and tuning to keep the engine from exploding. So now I guess 4k. It is for my daily driver so I am more interested in getting something cost effective and reliable than squeezing every last bit of hp.

I'd call up titan and talk to them about it. They did my car and it was the first turbo install on a tC. They did a great job. Since you'll probably be the first auto tC it might take them a little longer than usual, but it shouldnt be all that much if you just have the basic stage0 with no IC.

Thanks Rhyian. It sounds like Titan is the more reputable and that counts for a lot since I'm concerned about reliability. I've contacted both though, just waiting for them to get back to me.

Just an update - it seems like Titan definitely knows their stuff. However, it's $1600 for the install which brings the total cost up too much. Central Florida Turbo definitely does not know their stuff. A coworker of mine had his Nissan Silvia tuned there and they managed to shake his intercooler loose in the process of tuning and didn't even knotice it. So I'm not going to bother with that. But there is another place called Irish Mike's that the same friend goes to, I'm going to call them once I get a free moment at work.

Edit: I should also mention I'm now looking more into the greddy than the zpi stage 0. When you add up the extra parts you need for the zpi it comes out comparable but I bothers me that zpi advertises its kit as "All fuel and timing tuning already complete" without mentioning that it requires an emanage, fuel injectors, and transmission cooler to operate safely.
