I've seen a few threads about "I saw this and I saw that...but I can't show pics or talk about it"

Is there really a point to these threads? Does Toyota or Scion run this forum? if not, post the pics and put up the news...cause guess what..either way the cars will be released...and more being exposed might just be what they need....for the first couple of years...Scion was a word of mouth or "I saw this car on the road..what was it?" type of company...that is due to poor advertising, and trying to market the car to only one type of gereration...but won't get into that here...

so anyway...was getting off topic...

- if you know something post it (that is what a forum is for)
- if you think you know something and have nothing to back it up 'cept what yor "brother's friend's sister's roomate's cousin's uncle heard at a bar"..don't post it
-and if you do know something and think "you can't share" then do us all a favor and don't share a damn thing...cause those post are really getting to be tedious waste of time, and very tiring to read...

why a lock? I think I make a valid point...I think most would get tired with false rumors and people that post something but say absolutely nothing...all that really gets said is a new model is coming out......well no *%#@.......and that they know something that we don't ...which comes off as: "naa naa boo boo..I know something that you don't"


I'm just saying that if ya know, share....and if ya can't, keep the whole thing to yourself.

The lock was mentioned since there are already more than enough posts involving the redesigns, the new release series', the new model, etc. No reason for another one.

 

that is exactly what this thread is about...all the post that basically say nothing...I'm not asking "what is coming?" I'm jsut stating that it's a real pain to go through all the threads that get posted about the new design and have really nothing to say

 

If that is what you are looking for, this is going to turn into one of those very threads. What you should have done is taken all the "factual" info taken from the various posts and made that the text of the original post. This way all the info is in one post and not scattered about the x amount of pages.

which I totally understand...I'm just saying that if your in the know and you can't put the info up...don't put anything up!

I'm a comic geek, believe me I understand about insider info I gets tons all the time about new comic statues that are being produced from the sculptors themselves...I get pics and information but wouldn't dream of putting the info up in the other forum I frequent or even hint that I know....it could put the sculptors job on the line. DC and Marvel along with other collectible companies are not very forgiving.......

 

o i know a lot and most people will not like the xb's replacement. the xa's replacement whle being bland will be a MUCH better car.
