I'm looking to get some light wheels so I can put some slicks on them. I want a nice big sidewall and tread, but I wasn't sure if a 15" or 16" wheel would fit over the tC's stock front brakes.

I would only be getting 2 wheels and tires because this would be for a Drag application.

So what do you guys/girls think?

I dont know the offset but I just saw a picture in another thread and a guy had DR 225-50-15's on on it I think.

Depends on width. 7" wide with stock 45mm offset will work.

Peeps here have already done both 15 & 16", latest inquiry was last week, someone asking if 14" would clear...not sure.

 

14" won't clear, 15" will.
