View Full Version : Desert Dog SkateBoard Finals Presented By Scion - UPDATED
RockBlocker 09-27-2006, 02:20 PM I have been speaking with the guys over at Kronik Energy Drink and Scion Corp to work out the details for this event. We as a community have been asked to show off our Best Scions that the valley has to offer. The event is sponsored by Scion and they would like us to attend, show support and enjoy some skateboarding
This event is the Finals for the year and all the Best Skateboarders will be in attendance for a chance to win some of the $30,000 In prize money that will be given away. This is the highest purse for an event like this. This is a family event so children of all ages and parents are invited to come out for the day to check out some great competition!!
Scion and Kronik Energy Drink has reserved 49 VIP Parking Spots for us to showcase our vehicles along with the Valley Scion Dealers. Kronik will be working on getting press coverage for the event and when that info is released they will let us know.
This event is the Skateboard Finals for Bowl competition.
Where: Peoria, Az.

When: Oct 28 and 29th
Time: 8:30 am until 2 PM
Each Scion that rolls in to park in the Scion VIP parking area will receive two wristbands. Feel free to bring as many people as you want with you. The others will just have to pay the $5.00 entry fee

I'd really really like to go to this. I've been wanting to get some footage of some skateboarders doing there thing. only problem is i might not be able to go. logan is having hernia surgery on the 27th and he probably won't be up to going to something like this.

The Search for Animal Chin is one of the best skate videos ever and is from way back in the day. Can't wait for this one!!!!!

You dont have to reserve for anything. I am awaiting the details on what time and whereexactly we are to park. I hope to hear back this week on all the details. Once I do I will post them up.

Hey, I don't think I'll be making this one after all. Cayla and I were talking it over and since its going to be the day after Logan's surgery we don't think its a good idea to bring him out. That and Cayla would be working so I would be trying to take care of him and the car at the same time. So its a no go :doh:

sorry guys but I will not be attending this one. I just NOW got home from being with my best friend at the hospital and will probably still be needing to help her move tomorrow. I dont even have my car washed with everything I've had going on today so I really wanted to go but just isn't going to happen.
