Default Best place in Seattle to have tires mounted? Does it matter?

Some nice, bright and shiny (er, actually kinda banged up and well used) Work Euroline DHes are on their way to me from the sunny south, and now I've gotta figure out a) what tires to buy, and b) where to get them mounted. So, the short version is,

Where's the best place in Seattle to get tires mounted? And should I buy the tires locally and get 'em mounted where I buy them, or buy the tires wherever I want, and then find somewhere locally to mount them?

I'm a total wee waif in the woods when it comes to this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would buy the tires locally and have them mounted at the same shop. I have had good luck with Discount tires. The other benefit is if you get a flat or blow out you can just take it back to them and have it swapped out. If you buy the tire online or some other place you don’t have that benefit.

A lot of people curse Les Schwab. A lot of people praise them. I have had both bad and good experience with them. Discount, same thing, but I find Schwab sticks to their warranty better then Discount Tire, or so has been my experience. But ,they are pricey to buy tires from. I would say order tires and take em to be mounted. I took my 33" tires to be mounted on my own wheeles at Schwab, i think it ran me $15 a wheel. I cant remember with Discount Tire tho on just mounting.

A bit off topic but are those the wheels you were talking about (drooling over) at the M&G? If so grats on the find -- I look forward to seeing them

Those are indeed the wheels I was drooling over. They *are* well used, but this way I don't have to worry about shaving 70% of the value of the wheels off - it's already been done. But yeah, I sure have a thing for 'em. It's not rational, you know?

btw - about the drool - I hope I didn't get any on you.

Are these the ones? http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...dhp/eudhp.html

Just get some good cleaner and polish. I am sure you can clean them up!

Close - the ones I'm getting aren't chrome, which means that the dings presumably won't be so obvious, and that they won't be so hard to care for. We'll see. I've got mixed feelings about chrome, but it sure looks sharp on a lot of those VIP rides.

These are the very wheels in question:

From this distance, the dings are hard to make out, which is just the way I'm hoping they'll look in RL. I've seen some up close photos, and there's no doubt they're well used.
