tC horn
Ok, so this tC I drive, the horn started blaring. Car was off, but key was in the ignition, just off. Pulled the key out, tried starting the car, turned it back off, tried to set the alarm , deactivate it, everything. Just straight blaring away, constant. Ended up pulling the fuse. Now, dealer said its not a recall. Before I take it in, anyone had this happen on theirs before? I havent touched the horn once since we got it.
Try a different fuse. If it blares again, then you might have a defective horn. I swapped out my wimpy stock horn for the Hella Twin Supertone Horn. Be glad that Hella horn wasn't going off! Its loud!

it shouldn't be a recall... i haven't seen any problems with the stock horn except for the little complaints of how "wimpy" sounding it can be.
sounds like there's a short somewhere... did you accidentally drop something inside the steering wheel?
i have seen an incident where someone had a friend drop a penny in there and would short out the horn every so often causing it to go off.

Nothing was dropped in there. Least ways while its been under my supervision. Did get it used, so who knows before hand. Ima try to stick the fuse back in and see what it does, either way, dealer said its warranty. It goes in Sat.
Hah, little miss sunshine, that happened to me in my friends 87 Mighty Max truck, it was so funny too, especially seeing an identical scene in a movie. Anyway, check the fuse box and the contacts, sometimes the contacts could get crossed and cause a short which would explain your horn going off.
Go figure. dealer didnt find nothing. Said the windshield was not stock, is an aftermarket one. Moisture may have built up under the dash and shorted something out. They checked for leaks while it was in the car wash and nothing. The guy looked at me like I was crazy. I dunno.
