I'll bet on the xB right? The tC's all glass roof isn't going to help. The tC is 500 pounds more. That's a big difference if they were that close in HP.

I have an Auto tC, with no power mods [TRD Exhuast does jack-____]. I wanted to get an intake + header + s-pipe combo. For all that money it won't get me moving THAT quicker. Everytime I see a BOX, I want it badly. Well ONLY White xB's which I'd be getting if I was to get one.

I want the [b]BOXY LOOK, 30+ MPG, ROOM, and while OWNING SUCH AN IMPORTANT CAR The Scion xB changed/will change how cars will be shaped in future breeds of cars on roads. Haha, The Nissan Cube and Dodge Hornet.

I will miss the sportiness of the tC.... BUT HOW MANY OTHER CARS OFFER THAT!? Like 1209702174274?

The BOX is original. It will always be #1 on the box trend. Not the Chevrolet Astro! lol.

PS: The whole MPG thing...


Would I want a 30MPG - mods or 23MPG - mods.

tc for sure.. compare WHP.. power to weight ratio works.. when u have enough power..

well i dont know about all the specifics and science behind it.

but I beat an xB with header and full exhaust easily, and I suck.

dude a stock tc can beat xb with those mods

Yeah, xBs aren't sports cars, they are economy vehicles. The only way an xB is beating a tC in a straight line race, is with boost or nitro. Or, An xB could take a tC around curves if it had a fully tuned suspension and the tC didn't, but thats it.

Don't get me wrong i love xBs, but they would lose to a tC all day long.

this is one of those apples vs oranges, never the same.

just get what you really like and what makes you really happy. comparing specs and etc of two different cars would make it more difficult for you. but the answer to your "VS" is a no brainer.

Yes, it's a big difference... IF they were close in HP.

In reality, they aren't. tC's are good for nearly 50 more wheel horsepower, nearly 60 more wheel torque, and have the gearing to go with it.

XB's and XA's are the only two scion models that should be compared, really.

xa < xb < tchow do you figure that the box is gonna loose to it's lighter and more aerodynamic sister? The xA would kill an xB, the only way ^^^ might happen is if it was an auto xA and a stick xB, then the box might, might win.

sounds to me like someone likes the xB style, but doesn't like the xB power.

I'd rather be more unique than the box. At Nationals this year there were close to 300 cars, 12 xA's and that's the most I have ever seen that close to each other. the egg gets better mpg too.

I asm jealous of the amount of space in the xB tho, you can a lot more with it show wise.

the fastest auto tc i hace ever seen at the track ran a 16.8. when i was stock i ran a 16.8 in my xa. I would say it comes down to the launch and driving. Everyone automatically picks the TC but many who post never go to the track. I have seen what i've seen and i'm leting u know what is real.

i have seen a similar race as well and the tC won without the header

no it was an auto tC with a stick xB with header and full exhaust.

then the xA would have been even faster, with the same mods.

I'm wondering how xA's got into this, then I looked at the avatar of the users :P It really is a game of skill, but in almost all aspects, from personal experience, reading, going to the track, and sense, the tier goes xB < xA < tC.

But hey, everything has thier advantages. The xB looks like they designed a small SUV and then a week before plans were due they said "SHxT! We forgot the exterior!"

xB has a rediculous amount of int. room. Way more than anything that size has a right to have. All around it's only bigger than the xA by an inch here and there. inch longer, inch taller, less than an inch wider base, www.scion.com look at the specs for each.

i was shocked the first time i got in one. It feels like the HxLxW should be feet different, not inches.
