View Full Version : new healight install & tail lights
GRNMCHN 10-03-2006, 07:23 PM I heard that to install some new healights i would have to remove the whole front bumper. Is there any truth to this? And i was going to order some led tail lights but no one ever has a picture of any installed? Anyone no of any picture links?
NastysXB 10-03-2006, 07:35 PM yea u gota take the bumper off for the headlights but its not hard to do. ive got the led tails they look great get them! pics can be seen all over here and on ebay.
fokusco 10-03-2006, 11:15 PM It will take less than an hour to switch out your headlights. Seriously not hard at all. There are only 10 bolts that need to come off.

hotboxn 10-05-2006, 10:58 PM Just got the same ones and dual halo's for up front. I def. recommend them.
Neo_Bahamut_19 10-08-2006, 01:24 AM where did you manage to find those tail tail lights and the orange and blue bulbs? it matches the scheme of what I am doing to my XB...
thegoatlord 10-08-2006, 01:39 AM . . .
jwaj2002 10-08-2006, 01:51 AM yea, and the halos, and prices
Bsbox 10-08-2006, 02:09 AM I would reccomend getting LED bulbs for the reverse and turn signals on those tails. You would also need to get resistors for the turns but it's really easy to do and looks really clean. Check autolumination.com for everything you need. I have those tails in red and they are sweet.
El_Jorge 10-08-2006, 02:10 AM Here are some crappy shots on my RS3:

Neo_Bahamut_19 10-08-2006, 06:20 PM what about the tail light fixtures? those are what im really after, theyll match my black XB
El_Jorge 10-08-2006, 08:16 PM Tails are available at a bunch of places....Got mine on Ebay. The bulbs are just saftermarket bulbs you can get at ANY auto parts store if you want the blues for reverse. Otherwise the amber turn signal and clear reverse lights have to be transfered from the stockers.
Neo_Bahamut_19 10-08-2006, 10:43 PM thanks man, the big thing... are they street legal (DOT)? (if you have any clue that is)
El_Jorge 10-09-2006, 12:05 AM yes they are. they are stamped on the light.
rallying_the_scion 10-09-2006, 05:00 AM i didnt pull the bumper on my xB, i just took a few bolts loose, it pulled forward enough to get to the bolts on the headlights, and pulled them out, about a 30 minute job easy. 2nd time to do it.
RedneckwithanxB 10-09-2006, 05:03 AM thanks jorge.. i never got a chance to see your tails.... but i do love em
RedLine_tC 10-09-2006, 05:07 AM nice tails Jorge...like the look
El_Jorge 10-09-2006, 11:31 AM Thanks guys.
Neo_Bahamut_19 10-09-2006, 01:10 PM do they have an actual site that you can order them from or are they an Ebay only item? I prefer ordering from an actual company rather than through ebay... but ebay will do if it has to
El_Jorge 10-09-2006, 02:58 PM I sure there is a couple sites that sell them but I like ebay because I can use Paypal. The seller I got them from was: atomicstreet
rallying_the_scion 10-09-2006, 07:06 PM ive seen them all over the net for sale, seems like a fairly popular set, nice but not my taste, went with a differ set not seen often.
