These are my two choices for which spring I get. Now the Tein is more performance oriented which I like but the Tanabe gives you more of a drop. I have heard people say the Tein got rid of their wheel gap and basically that is all I am looking for as far as a drop goes. I would like my car to handle better so Tein would be better for that.

Who has pictures of an xA lowered on Tein S-tech. They do make S-techs for the xA right because I saw some topic saying they didn't but that might have been old.

tein's will be a nice drop...
but u defiantly need df210.. u need that big drop
cuz our cars are so high!

i put the df210s on my car and i still wished it was lower!

if you want such a big drop why not go with a coilover? Then you have complete control of how low you want the car to be.

Tein Basics or Super Sport Coilovers will allow you to dump the car. Or even airbags..

the tein SS is called SUPER STREET.
and the drop on them are the same except the basics are non adjustable shocks whereas thje SS are adjustable(16 way)

the drop is pretty nice and aggressive...
a good friend of mine is on the tein wagon damper(pretty much a softer/enjoyable ride compared to the basics and its non adjustable as well)

I don't want a coilover because I don't want to spend $800 just to lower the car. I just want it lowered for looks and to improve the handling some.

How does a coilover work on the rear since the spring and strut are seperate?

just get the tanabe's since they lower more than the tein's.
i had the df210s on for a while and they settled and everything, i still wished they rode
lower!

lol but thats just me... i suggest it if u want a 2+ drop.. if u want a less than 2" drop
u need to get the stech's.... but hoenstly.. go as low as u can go..
but dont get ground controls

Personally I think when the curve of the fender matches the curve of the wheel that is the best height to be lowered at. I wouldn't want to tuck but getting rid of extra gap is nice. I think I am leaning towards the S-techs.

If you drop your car that low you the struts are going to wear rather quickly. They are designed to have full extension. You will probably notice that you are replacing them a lot sooner than normal. Coilovers are designed to work at any height.
