just wondering how many scion owners around.. maybe we can start a military car club... let me know.

 

thin grymson is one of the few.... at least that post up here.... other than that... i dunno... keep hearing "theres all these scions on base...." but nothing happens after that...

 

im a air force vet. my hubby's still in. we dont stay on base but it doesnt matter. i think a military club is a great idea. we need more clubs around here ! Im in puerto rico right now but if you start this, i'd love to help u when i get back.

theres a guy on here who's navy but i dunno if he comes on scionlife anymore.

 

I see tons of them on base here at lewis but I dont know ho many people are on here.. I never get to see them in a parkinglot to talk to the owners though.. but I think it woud be cool to get a military club going.. but i dont know how it would work out cuz im headed to Iraq in a few months...

 

hey brother i'm in. getting out on medboard in a couple months maybe sooner. but a military meet up sounds cool. we should drive around post one day and recruit cars as we see them.

 

Im on McChord theres a few I work with one Owner but she's in Baghdad at the moment oh and I see Benilda car everyday still looks good

 

well one of these weekends when im not out in the field or yakima we should do that... I am leaving friday and I will be back tuesday.. but yeah lets find some more military scion owners and get this started..

well we are super busy and stuff, heck this weekend we are leaving on a mission to YTC but when I get back I will start doing some searching to get this thing started.. but if anyone has a idea for a name for the club let me know.. I am going home in october for a few days and a really good friend has a sticker shop so I will get some stickers made if we can come up with a name..

depends if its "SCION" only cars in it... if scion only...no... if you have other makes/models no prob...
quasi grey area... if its just hanging out.. like bunch of military peeps w/same car... not a major prob... but if start doing shows, events and others... possible issues arise from conflict of intrest point of view

 

could start up maybe a sub-division.. SE-Military?? lol

and i dont think the SE-military is a good idea. I'd rather see a whole NEW car club around and i think we need it. All the NW has is SDG and SE. Whats the point of having an SE-military? none.

 

^^ umm... think its cuz SE hq.. hasnt put SDG yet on the list of no-no's... maybe its to new/small??? i dunno I'm just repeating what the SE bylaws say...

As for SE-milatary or another club all together.. i too think we need another club... i've never said we didnt need another club. friendly competition is good.... helps build the community.
I tossed out SE military becuase there is a decent group of SE members that are military.. and since they are prone to be transfered around and stuff... thought it would be a safe designation if they chose that path... doesnt tie them down to one area....

yeah yakima suck AZZ!!! ast time we were there it was so hot!! the time before that it was windy as hell and cold too.. but we have a pretty cool mission and its only gonna be like a 72 hour hit so it wont be that bad.. but maybe we can get together after I get back from az and ut our brains together and get this thing rolling. hell it would just be nice to meet some people outside of my platoon lol.. I have been up here for a year and dont really know anyone because I have either been away at schools or in the damn field.. Damn CO is from Ranger bat and XO was a SF Ateam wpn sgt before he got his comission so were always out training
