Default CRAZY Unbelievable WHOA

I have an unbelievable scary story for all to hear, am blessed just to be telling you all this.

ON this past sunday i was driving to queens on the highway (for all u non ny ppl its an area of ny) and i was doing like 70. There is like 3 lanes usually sometimes 4, and at the time there was a line of cars in front of me not letting me pass so i changed lanes into 4th lane, all the way to right.

Turned out that the lane was ending so i was like oh ISH sped up to get infront of the guy before the land ended cuz didnt wanna brake and have some one rear end me. For some reason, there was a random huge rock implanted into the curb, my right front tire hit it, i skidded to the left, across all 4 lanes, headed towards the barricade, and at the last moment i yanked at my steering wheel and the car continued to turn left and drift sideways on the highway and pull a 180 in which i was going reverse on the highway ala' 2fast2furious style. (how do u like dem apples)

but anyways all seriousness it was a miracle because all the cars managed to slow down, and i didnt hit anything, just pulled some stunt ish out of a movie.... But now my brakes are all messed with and my alignment is off. The very least that could have happened. Not a scratch on my car, not even the side that went ofver the rock. Freakin random rock....

Not posting to get scolded at i got annoying parents for that i know iknow be safe and all that just posting to share, thought it might be interesting and a heads up to be safe and LIVE LIKE ITS YOUR LAST lol.

Anyways my alignment is messed up and my brakes may be worn so how much do u think each to get fixed?

Hey man, I'm so glad to hear you are ok and no one got hurt, glad to hear your car made it out ok with only minor damage. I don't know exact prices but if your talking about brake pads, those are inexpensive, and to get an alignment shouldn't be too much either. Just check out local places like Firestone of something like that to see if they got a deal going on or a coupon.

But again, I'm glad you made it out ok and your doing well. I wish the best of luck to you.

Good thing you didn't get nailed dude, that could have been ugly. Alignment shouldn't cost much at all, I'd ballpark $50-70 though you can find coupons usually. Brake pads aren't bad either, I'd use it as an excuse to upgrade them.

there is a reasonable explanation for not using blinkers... I know in Boston (where i learned to drive) people don't use blinkers because if you do, people won't let you change lanes, they will purposly block you off...and on top of that the normal cruising speed is 80-90... I once got out of a 100 dollar ticket because I argued and said "Everyone drives 80, and the safest speed is the speed of traffic"... plus I paid off the cop lol

But besides that....glad you are okay!

tahnks for all the responses guys, i appreciate it. Definitel think there was a higher power watchin me that day....so surprised i dditn thit the barricade, let alone the oncoming traffic. BLess NY's reaction time lolol.

ON a different note i wish they made the change lane switch on the shift **** like two little buttons that u can press cuz i drive with my left hand only on the top of the sterring wheel and it actually bothers my driving when i have to hold the sterring wheel with my right to signal...and i always signal.
