Lookin good mike. Looks really awesome.

That is a great idea. When I get some more things done to the exterior I am going to take some pictures of my xA in a parking garage.

Hey Mike,
I complimented your rims on another post and you gave me the ebay link where you bought them. I checked it out but the discription didn't say what kind of rims they are. I really like them and would like to find those exact ones. Who makes them?
Any chance of a few close ups? I would like to see what the red logo says.
I have a black xa and I hate to copy you but I have been agonizing over what rims to buy.
You just solved my problem. Are they 17" or 18"? Thanks for the help and great pics btw....

Great shots!!! Now, if it were me, I'd put clear corner lights on it....

That's exactly the end result I had in mind when I started shopping for an xA, albeit ASA AR1's instead of the wheels you chose. I just couldn't find a black 5-spd in the city so I went with IIP instead of black. Car looks great.

Nice XA!

As far as pics, here are some tips... (went to school for this stuff... :p)

1. You know that time of night/day normally around 5pmish when the sun is no longer visible in the sky but it's still light out? Photographers and cinematographers call this "magic Hour" because it makes colors show up really nice in pictures.

2. Stay away from those industrial lights you find in garages and stuff. They tend to show up a weird yellowish brown in photos which you can't correct for. (because they actually LACK some wavelengths of color as opposed to having a spike of one color)

3. Use a lighting kit if you want a real good pic... (but that's expensive and the magic hour works pretyy well...) reflectors never hurt though. Camera flashes tend to suck.

4. use a tripod and your cameras timer to take the pic. This way it won't be blurry if you have wobbly ___ hands. :p (at least mine are too much e)

5. Learn to use your camers non automatic settings (it has non automatic right?? ) automatics tend to set everything for "even" which, while quick and easy and good enough for little jimmy's birthday, tends to not look as nice as if you actually took the time to set everything yourself. Good photography is like the interplay between lights and shadows.

Anyway I'll stop now. :p But if you use any of the tips use the magic hour one. It makes some nice lookin pics.
