Date: Saturday, December 16th
Time: 7 pm - until we roll out of there

Party Location: The Holiday Tent, fully decorated with xmas trees, tables, etc. Yes...there's outdoor heating and it'll be rather warm & toasty!!! Can only seat 50 maximum!

Food & Drinks: We're going dutch here but there are food options galore
http://www.mcmenamins.com/bin/OlyClub.pdf

Hotel Rooms: There is a Scion block of rooms being held because of the limited number left in some categories. Please let me know what one you want, if any. I need this info by end of October otherwise they will be released.

1 King Bed - $60/night
16 Queen Beds - $50/night
6 Bunk Beds - $40/night
1 King Bed Accessible room - $60/night

SPEAK UP if you want one! Otherwise, be there or be square.

ORIGINAL POST:
I am wondering if anyone is interested in a Holiday Party?

I'm thinking it'd be cool to meet halfway between PDX and SEA. Thoughts?

Here is a great location:
http://www.mcmenamins.com/index.php?loc=58

They have a banquet room for us that is free to use because we'd be buying food & drink. Hotel rooms are cheap ($60/King, $50/Queen, $40 Bunkbed) for those that need/want one.

Let me know what your thoughts, dates available, ideas on locations, etc!!![/u]

What kind of hotel has bunkbeds?! hahaha. That's awesome.

I'm still debating on going down to Cali on the 16th for D1. But who knows.

Mcmenamins has some of the coolest bars/eateries around. Never been to the Olympic Club but a friend has and he said they still have the porcelin trough on the floor around the bar so you never had to leave your beer, lol. Will have to run it by the wife, but sounds like a great idea, someplace close to me for a change, lol.

16th. Chris should be back from Japan by then. We have a Christmas party on the 14th but I'd like him to be able to meet everybody and see what we could to do our baby!

Doh, I'll have to bow out due to not being 21 (plus I'm trying to cram as many hours as possible in at work to fund my study abroad in February)

Bah humbug...

First you don't have to be 21 and older...but for those that are, alcohol is available. This would be an ALL AGES event.

Secondly...extra work for study abroad? Where are you going to travel to?

We are having a huge christmas party at our house on the 9th. I am sure many of you will be invited, have to check with Lynn, its mostly family and coworkers etc. So, I would like you to pick a different date so I can go.

The Oly Club is awesome, amazing food and drinks there. I've been there for a couple of big slide shows *One later this year* but the place is great, the waiters are funny. I'd be up for it.

Sounds like the 16th works best for most people.

I'm going to go ahead and start making plans if that's okay.

^^ Just make sure you get top bunk...some of these ScionLifers may not be housetrained yet!

Also, to everyone...there are only TWO king bed rooms available (one accessible) and they are on a first come, first served registration process with me!
