Default Settings for TRD Rear sway

I think this has been covered before in a topic, but I searched and couldnt find the topic.

At any rate, what settings would you guys suggest for the bar, I also have trd springs and shocks/struts if that matters.

I remember reading sport was a better setting, but I wanted to make sure I was remembering right. Thanks

I have mine on the race or track setting, and all is good. I can't see where the street setting would do much good.

"I also have trd springs and shocks/struts if that matters."

I have asked this question before but no one answered. Are shocks the same thing as struts?

This has been covered before. Check out the post Here
As far as I am concerned, I would put it on the race setting. Inner most hole. Perfect in terms of performance. Improves the cars handling just enough. I am a daily driver and couldn't image going any other way.[/url]

No, they're different but they both do the samething - dampen the spring movement.

So if you don't want yr shocks/struts to blow out when getting TRD springs should I get the entire spring, shocks and struts at the same time>?

I have run trd springs on stock struts for about 19,000 miles now with no issue. The TRDs arent as agressive a change as some other springs are and should be ok on the stock struts. While used interchangeably (incorrectly) a shock and strut differ from one another. A shock dampens suspension movement like a strut. However, a strut is part of the suspension geometry and structure. For example, the strut has mounts for the spring and also serves a structural purpose for the suspension (on the front you can see this in that it affects alignment and supports the spring). If you remove a strut, you have removed part of the suspensions structural parts. If you remove a shock, you can still drive around in most cases.. but your car will feel like it is mounted on flubber :D

I'm running Tein S Techs on factory shocks and struts with no problems.

na, the dealer had all my parts cause I bought them when I bought the car cause I didnt know of the better prices I could get elsewhere, like this site; so they installed it for me.

But me in my absolute genious forgot to take the sway bar up with me for them to install

I live 2 hours away so when the guy asked if I was going to go home and get them I just laughed.

I've read its an easy install but I need some info on it.

I know where the bar is and the 4 spots that it connects, the 2 nuts on each side and where the 2 rings are on the bar.

However, is there anything special I need to make sure about, like if I put the car up on ramps is there anything special I need to know about removing any of the parts. Also, what would I use, ramps or jacks, does the rear suspension need to be non-load bearing when I take off the bar (like with jacks) or load bearing (with ramps). Thanks for any help you can give.

BTW, I'm loving the TRD springs, the drop is just enough, I didnt want to go super agressive and this fit perfectly.

Race of course, no point for street. Even for daily use. I have the Progress rear sway and I have it on the stiffest setting.

Is the inner hole the race setting or is it the outer hole? I'm confuszed, cause I feel a little difference and I thought it was gonna be like chocolate and $h1t. But I haven't felt too much of a difference.
