I went to taget 2nite and i saw a chamois mitt that you can use to dry the xb with. u just put it on like the wash mits and dry your ride. But what I was wondering was what you guys use to wupe off the wax after you apply the wax? the 1st time I waxed i used microfiber cloths. I heard those are good to use over the terry towels. But i was thinking about using that chamois mitt to take off the wax. Can you use a chamois to take off the wax or is that just for drying your ride? let me know if they will work or what you use to take off the wax. peace. :)

You can use soft 100% cotton terry cloth towels or cheese cloth to remove wax. I've enver cared for chamois to remove water, I use this thing called an Absorber. It's a synthetic chamois towel, works excellent.

I bought a microfiber cloth from Walmart..I think Eagle One makes it..works good. I also have like... a dozen flannel clothes...

I also use the absorber to dry my cars after the wash, I have never used anything better to dry off a ride.

I have always used 100% terry cloth towels when taking off wax.
