Default When the NEW SCIONS come out..

If they are TOTALLY AWESOME and MIND BLOWING.. will you trade in your tC?
___________________________________

I traded in my 03 V6 'Stang for the tC. I'm just starting to mod it, and it makes me like my car more. Though I love the xB's shape I went towards the tC for HP.

The next Scions have to be amazing. These cars are building SO MUCH HYPE. Toyota/Scion couldn't let us down already... right? If they are amazing I'm going to want to trade in my tC, but will lose a lot of money.

Trading in cars is like trading in a hamburger. You'll buy it for 0.99 cents, but once it hits your tray and you walk away from the counter.... that baby is only worth 0.34 cents.

And god forbid you take a bite out of it. lol

It'd be a good idea to just keep the tC and mod it. What's your DEAL?

haha, so no xB huh? In all honesty, you cant seem to keep your mind set on anything soooo....

my advice would be to stay with the tC until the new Supra comes out in 2009. That is a car worth trading in for...

if in two years they really make a "rally inspired 4 door scion" i would trade my tC in for it.

So, it would be hard to improve, but they do have room for growth. Although, a leader in style, I can honestly say the xB does nothing for me. I can see Scion coming out with a 4 door sadan though.

I can't. Remember, Scion is a youth oriented brand.

I love my tC and it is very doubtful Scion would make another car that would make me want to get rid of mine.

Nope, but then again, this will likely be my last car in this life, as I plan to sell it in <5yrs and retire somewhere that I don't require a car.

I'd be all over the new Supra; forget the tC.

Only if one is a RWD version of the tC or something similar.

tC is the leader of the Scion Fleet. So whatever replaces the xB or xA, I'd so no. I like the look and sport of the tC, if they replace the tC, then I'd reconsider.

I think if they made a versino of the tC with much mroe power, it might not fit into the Scion philosophy. Scion doesn't sell sport cars, they don't sell pocket rockets, etc. They sell cars that you can use to drive around, and can afford to own (which also includes insurance and such). Of course, they also make it to where if you want to make it more powerful, that option is available to you. But once you buy it, you buy a good, dependable car that isn't 100% made for you to get into trouble.

Plus, remember the ages of most the people who buy these cars. The last thing Scion wants is to get an even more "teenage racer" image than it already has...

I think what we all really want is the rumored Supra :D

I dont want the rumored Supra.. I want the new G35 coupe when it comes out 330 ponies and luxury... thats why I am only keeping my tC for a year. If any companies ever call me back on my resume. I thought a college degree was suppose to guarantee me a job!

you'll be much happier in a Toyota than a Nissan

Plus, if Toyota ever does bring back the Supra, there's no way they're going to screw it up with sub-par performance. It's going to own everything else out there.

Once upon a time, yes, but sadly, no more. Best of luck in your search.
