Default Wussup!!

Hey wussup! I am new to the forum. I recently bought an 07 tC and i'm loving it so far. I have everything stock but I am considering buying a turbo kit since they don't have a s/c for the 07. Should I wait for the s/c or buy a turbokit?

Also, what can I do to improve the car's performance? Which header is the best for the tC, exhaust, intake (is the intake worht it since i'm most likely getting the t/c)?

I am currently living on base in Pearl Harbor. HOLLA AT ME!..lol

You just bought the car and you already want to put in a turbo? Rich yeah? Jus playing man. Personally I feel that its not a good idea to dump an aftermarket turbo into a brand new car. Of course that is all up to you. LMK how it goes if that works out for you. When did you get yours? I bought mine in August. I would like to say it was the first 07 off the lot but idk . I got it the week after they came in.

I bought mine right after I got back from deployment maybe around August 14-16? I really don't think it's a good idea to dump an aftermarket turbo into a brand new car also but I want to. I wish they have the S/C out for it but I'll have to wait? I'll let you know if I do decide to put the turbo or just wait for the S/C to come out.

you can boost a new car, its fine...

as far as which route to go, if you have extensive knowledge, than turbocharging is an option. if not, i really recommend going with the SC. even though you will wait a while, it will always be the most reliable method of forced induction. also, don't even bother getting bolt ons if your going to boost down the road. maybe exhaust and maybe header if your going SC, but just save your money for boost :D

It's not that boosting a new car is wrong. It's just you might as well wait a little in case your car happens to need warranty work for the engine. Just in case. You can boost the car safely, but what if there is a factory prob w/ the engine that comes up not too long after you buy the car.
