Boomster and I will be hitting up the car wash on cave creek and grovers. it is on the south east side of the street. just south of the animal feed store. cant miss it. open to anybody to come and join our mayhem! :P
If we get done early we might even be able to have a lil bit of some Grilling action from Boomster.

Your hose is jinxed bj!!! Better not use it before HIN.

I am with Nick, by the time I got home I would have to wash it again. Do we want to have an East-side meet to wash them on Friday night or early Saturday morning, since roll in isn't until 10!

I saw the Kiss post after I posted my reply, but I have to work...so, unless they want to be washing until about 6, then I will be on my own I guess. Anyone else have to work who can't go to Jason's house?

Oh yeah, claybar ROCKS! After the nasty weather, I totally worked the paint over and all the glass to get every last waterspot I could find off and the paint is smooth as ice now thanks to mothers claybar system. I love that setup, best $16.99 anyone could ever spend. However after I use the claybar, I have fallen in love with Turtle Wax Ice polish / wax. Stuff is not the best for scratches but for depth and look it is amazing! And works on all plastics without turning them all nasty!!

I was going to try Ice, my friend uses it and the only bad thing is it doesn't last long at all, but it is easy to apply, and you can apply it in the sun:)

That is true, the quick detailer I use actually removes allot of the ice, I have to ice the car usuall before each show each month.

hmmm, what is this ICE you guys are using? I bought something called ICE cleaner that I spray on the car to remove wetspots. is that the same stuff?

I was on my way home on the 101 and i17 loop and it started raining a little! Everyone still going to the carwash?

Cuthbert
10-14-2006, 02:34 AM
I was gonna roll up there to see if anyone is there, but I don't think it's a very good idea to wash the car since there is like a 60% chance of rain tomorrow:)

Figured if I wax and wash it tonight and it rains then all I need to do is a quick detail, hopefully.

it was cool minus me introducing myself to a wall... and the fact it started raining. I gota stop off at walmart and buy more supplies when I get off work here in a couple hours. need some more tire dressing for tomorrow!
