What's up Hawaii... just moved back from SoCal after a 4 year session. Had a quick question...

I got to get a safety check done on my TC, but am concerned about the tint. The tint isn't too dark, but i don'n know what percent it is, because it's illegal in Cali to have any tint on the front windows anyways.... I didn't even think about it at the time, but if it helps i chose the medium option out of Light, Medium or Dark .

Back to the issue at hand, does anyone know of a good place to get, or should I say pass a safety check?

No tint on front windshield as well.

35% around. Give or take 6% it think. But some places are **** like that. Def will not pass w/ tint on front windshield unless it's a 6" strip across the top. GL passing nonetheless. Main thing is your front tint.

 

Yah, i hope that i don't get a place that is really strict. I don't have to worry about tint on the front windshield but hopefully my tint is light enought to pass...

 

yup, as said above no tint allowed on front windshield. For cars, 35% for the remaining windows +/- 6%. A lot of safety places are getting more strict cause the cops have been cracking down on illegal tint and they wanna save their butts from getting their license revoked.
