Default Custom Quad Exhuast on XB

I am thinking about having a custom exhaust made for my xb with 2" piping, axle-back.

I am thinking about running a custom quad (4 muffler) exhaust with these mufflers:

What do you guys think? I made a little sketch in MS Paint of how I want to to look from behind.

I think it will be better if you go with a dual tip instead of quad mufflers...

the car is not wide enough imho and will look very odd with 4 of them

I found a better set of mufflers to run for the quad look... how about 2 of these on either side....

i'd go get a glasspack or something and run 4 pipes out the back.

i know that i run it, but i hate the large muffler can in the back look... especially 4 of them. that's why i like the look of a stock tC exhaust, the muffler bit is hidden under the spare tire area and only a pipe with a nice tip is visible.

one thing you have to consider is if you run those canister muffler, make sure it has a very fix hangers. You don't want those melting your lips if it somehow shifts(when its hot).
have you consider getting dual-outlet muffler, then just do piping, then 4 exhaust tips.
that way even if the tip touches the lips it won't melt it. there are so many tips out ther on the net you can decide on.
BTW, this is my dual set-up

To be honest, I was thinking of different things to do with the exhaust when I get my box. Dual was a thought, but for some reason I can't get the idea of the vintage show cars with the exhaust built into the rear fenders. I wish I could find a pic to show what I mean. I'll check when Im at work for one.

Now back to the topic, I think the picture that was linked with the Fab Box looks great, but only because of the tail used. If you were to use 4 of the round tails it'd look a bit bulky to me.

i like the idea sort of. but i think it would look better with slightly smaller tips and still have that burnt look thinky.
