Default For the tC people...

i know that this should prolly be in the classifieds but seeing as how it is regionally dependent i figured id just throw it up and whom ever wants to move it can... sooo here goes...

speed concept has stocked a set of hotchkis front and rear adjustable sway bars... i think they were hoping id buy them with my camber links but i already have them... either who anthony doesnt know how much to sell them for so he said who ever can bring him the lowest advertised price (excluding e-bay) he'll sell em for that. so go at it tC people.

He's not selling them, just giving heads up on a local shop that has a potentially good deal for anyone in the area.

While I appreciate you redirecting me, you did so erroneously. I have a couple of issues with this post.....first, mods generally don't have "wrath" they merely make sure the site runs smoothly and posts are in the correct forum.

Second, people often "realize" their thread belongs in one forum but post it in another because of a personal reason. You, my friend, should read and understand the "rules" before "calling down the wrath of the mods". This is a "sale thread". All vendors could assert they are merely making "good deals" known and avoid the rules. From the scionlife rules:

3. I understand that only Scionlife Sponsors may post commercial ads.
-All other sales must go in the Private Party Classifieds.
-Wanted To Buy (WTB) must also belong to the Private Party Classifieds.
-You must achieve Member status before you can post in the Private Party Classifieds.

But you are correct in the sense that I shouldn't concern myself with these matters. ;)

Well, from one scion owner to another... I appreciate the fact that we are looking out for each other in the "deal" department. While I try to make it to shops to see what they have and what is "currently" going for a great price; often I cannot.

So I personally think it's great when someone posts up deals that they come across in my region. It would have done me no good in the classified section of this forum.

As far as this being a sales post.. I think not.... This is a friend of mine who WE all know and frequently get together with. We are in a mode of growing our scion community and our positive image within our area(s).

Our area also knows that the aftermarket part supplies for our cars are limited within our region. So letting folks know that X business has parts benefits our group more than it would any local business due to them seeing that the demand is there. If the parts go fast off their shelves, they will continue to supply.

One other thing you should realize about my friend here. He happens to be one of the most active Scion owner within our area. So by him posting "finds" within our regional forum is of no surprise to me. He is looking out for us and and our ever decreasing pocket books.

Keep it up my friend... We all appreciate it.. I would appreciate it more if this was for an xB

I'd be all over these parts(and many many more) if i had the know how of how, the place and the tools to fit them. The price of the parts is not what gets me, its the price of the installs. Add to that that you need to trust the shop who does the work, it keeps my scion at stock lol.

most definetly people will help, tim and i will install next to everything on a scion. i think the only match we have met is a clutch, and tahts simply because we have no idea how to do it!

I've been out of town for the weekend or I would have responded sooner.

1st this is neither a PPC or a "sponsered sale" Obviously you are an idiot! This is a friend of ours letting us know about a great deal that he found out about nothing more, why don't you stick to your regional forum, and out of ours??

okay, np. btw, it is "sponsored sale" and "nor" is appropriate after "neither"...."or" is appropriate after "either", but I digress.

If I hadn't turned in my "supermod" card when I sold my tC I might have made a bigger issue of your unwarranted interjection into the thread. This came up quite often in mod discussions and the thread was borderline.

While this is borderline, I'm making a moderator's decision to leave it as is. If arguing continues, then that will be reason for a thread closing.

EDIT: Oop. Didn't post fast enough. At Erik's request, I'm closing the thread. PM him for more info.
