Over the past few days I have come to the idea of buying a xA. I would not be able to buy it until the early start of next year do to lack of funds right now. Some of the first things I would want to do is CAI, exhaust & headers along with wheels. Now I dont mind the big wheels for looks, but I my self like light weight. I know that the xA & xB are based on the Toyota Echo. So my question is, can you fit a 14" wheel from a echo onto a xA? I know this is odd seeing it would be making the wheel smaller then stock. The wheels I want are Kosei K-1 TS in the 14x6 kind. Seeing that the 15x7 version of those wheels weigh 10.6 pounds the 14s should be around the 8-9 range. The tire would be a Falken Ziex ZE-512 in the 195/60HR14 kind weighing in at 17.6lbs. So you do the math & that could be a weight loss of 10+ pounds on each corner. If you belive the idea that by lossing 1 pound of rotating mass is like taking off 10 pounds that would be a 100+ pound loss in weight. Im sorry to ramble on & thank you for any help you can provide on my odd question.

I've seen these on an Xa before. http://www.axiswheels.com/maglite.html
17" wheels weigh 14lbs. Just the 4 spoke idea is kinda funky.

Those do look nice. The wheels Im looking at though only cost $119 each. I found a better tire, kind of. It weighs less, its still a Falken Ziek ZE-512 but in a 185/65HR14, its closer to the stock diameter. Thank you for the suggestion though.
