Anyone go from a tC to an xB?
I'm thinking about selling my tC and getting an xB. I used to not like the looks on them, but recently they have grown on me. I would basically be doing this to get a lower payment per month.....have a kid on the way.
Just curious if anyone has done this and if they were satisfied?

I second that, I didn't like them much when they came out, but they really grew on me and now I bought one. Thats how it works!
As for the tC to xB transition, as I have read through numerous threads i've seen several people mention that they did the same thing. Seems to be a popular transition.

Ok, well I stopped at two dealers here in MI. Rinke Scion was a mess. I took my tC in to get the Wind Deflector Recall fixed and an oil change...made an appointment for 11:00, did not leave until 1:00. I test drove an xB, liked it, but the salesman could not evaluate my tC for trade-in. He gave me NO pricing info what so ever. Horrible salesman I ran into.
Went to McInnery and it went much smoother, test drove another with my wife this time. Went good, except they only offered $12,000 for the tC, which I thought was low. I'm going to try selling by private owner....hoping to get $15000 (OBO).

My tC was an '05 with 23,000 miles if I remember right. I got 15,000 for mine. It was a manual. I had the trd exhaust and an ingen cai, too. Which I don't thing made a difference. Try and get 16,000 if your going to sell it yourself.
The dealership is trying to give me $14k for mine. It's an 06 in mint condition with just over 7000 miles on it. TRD shocks/struts and Lowering springs, mudflaps, lip spoiler and fogs from the dealership. Tint and Auto car starter afterwards. I put it on autotrader for $18k with high hopes. No calls so far but it's only been up since Monday night. If I got $17k I'd be pretty pumped.
