damn, we want more
hrm, k, I look into things way too much, but it has a pseudo california style plate on, or at least west coast. As far as I recall Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas all have 6 character plates..

The "Corolla Owner" would be me. Found it on Toyota Pressroom. Only photo released so far. Along with a new press release today.
"Scion, the new marque from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., will stage the world premier of the Scion tC sports coupe at a press conference at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Sales of the tC, designed specifically for the U.S. market, will begin in June 2004 and will coincide with the national launch of the Scion brand. The reveal will be held on Monday, Jan. 5 at the Riverfront Ballroom in COBO Center."

Hey, I just noticed something. Didn't they plan to keep that funky giant sunroof/moonroof design found on the ccx concept? Judging from this picture it seems to be either gone or an option. Hmm, just something to think about. Personally I think I'd like it as an option, because I woulnd't like it on MY car. Sounds like it would cost an arm and a leg to fix if/when it ever went wrong or someone threw a rock at it.

2) The all glass roof will probably be not an option but standard. And if u see closely at the picture along the roof line and rear glass...the glass seems to continue forward in one seam ...the frame may be metal..but the rear glass seem to reflect a continuou flow onto the rooftop and possibly to the front windshield...i doubt it will be one-piece..but section glass (maybe a 3 piece) rear/top/front windshield.
3) Since the TC is based on the Toyota Avensis, i see the resemblence.
4) atleast we know it's not a hatchback or is it? can't tell from the pix
5) i can't wait to see it at the L.A. autoshow next month!

true...i see that...i would have to agree...tC, i deem thee...tC-Baby Lexus
