Anyways, I'm in california. Anyone know if it's illegal to have them on while driving?

I googled around and checked the CHP sites and could NOT find anywhere that says it's illegal.

Can someone verify?

 

this would be better off in a regional forum, but from what i've heard about california, stock cars are illegal so...


i would assume so.

 

yessir. any mod to ur car is illegal.

so if u get them, like me, dont have on while driving. only allowed to have them on when car is parked

and if u decide to take a chance, atleast do not have RED or BLUE. that is a definite no no

Again, different laws for different states... but I believe here it is illegal to have any auxilary lighting (anything that isn't stock) turned on when the vehicle is in motion. And colors such as blue and red, as mentioned above, can land you felony charges for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

 

bah, i run with my blue interior lighting on all the time and i never get pulled over.... and i have *alot* of interior lighting

(but not nearly as much as special's!)

you can still have the red lights, jus not while drivin. its not that bad
