For those who have this strut bar, did you use the 6 spacers that came with the package. Or what did you do?

strut bars a pointless... just go with sways, and if you cant afford both, get the rear sway.

although you should search and do research as everyone else here has said, i will tell you. sway bars go UNDER the car and are not seen but are very helpful in improving handling, strut bars go in the engine bay and are pretty much there to look pretty. in a fwd car you will want a slightly stiffer rear, which is why people go for rear sway bars first, and if they get a beefy rear sway bar (ie hotchkis) then they go for a slightly stiffer front bar as well.

basically, sway bar and strut bar serve 2 different purposes. The strut bar is a tie bar which ties things together. It's there to prevent things from twisting and bending. Most of the time, it's completely unnecessary. The sway bar, or rather anti-roll bar is connected to 2 endlinks, one on each side of the car. If 1 side of the suspension lifts or squats, the side will do the same.
