Default xB OEM Style spoiler install...any tips?

I'm in the middle of drilling the holes on the inside of my hatch, to access the bolts on my new CF OEM style spoiler - & I'm having a hell of a time making the holes. I've gone through several dremel bits, & the holes are looking clean, & it's getting there but it's not easy!

To everyone who's installed an oem type spoiler (painted or CF - doesn't matter) - what tools did you use, & do you have any tips or pointers now that you have done it?

Everything i've searched comes up with someone making a recommendation to have a dealer installed, that is NOT what I'm looking for. Hopefully if we can get some good tips, I can contribute some input & pictures for a DIY in the tech area, I don't think any aftermarket spoilers come with any sort of documentation.

Good luck with the installation. Was planning to buy the OEM CF wing too. Mind telling me where you bought it and how much? So far I was looking at http://www.aeronationusa.com/details.htm?id=712 for the CF wing. Any other suggestions? Worth the $?

You can get them off ebay for about $170 buy it now usually, they're from scionfx. At the scionfx store they're $229.

Default oem spoiler

Finished putting mine on Friday. Spoiler came from Spoilerdepot out of Florida. I was not real happy with having to drill holes but I wanted the spoiler on. Should be an easier way to install.

Thanks, the install went good. I'm really happy with how the wing looks on my Black xB - I'll post some pics up hopefully this afternoon.

My company sells the wings for 199 - here's more info on them:

I thought these wings were supposed to come with a template to drill the holes. Mine has no template

It is going to make things more difficult, but boredom hates a coward !!!!
