I am beginning to do things to my box. Now, I don't know to much about CF. I was wondering which hood is good. bBist or Fiber Images. I know that the one from bBist is cheaper, which is making me think it isn't a good quality, but I don't know. Please someone fill me in, or tell me if there are any other places that sells CF hood at a decent price.

bBist hoods are awesome..
i inspected one firsthand today and i was super suprised about the quality..

i have no clue how much fiberimages and bbist charges for their hoods.
but if they were the same price, i'd pick the bbist ones..

Thanks dude, The bBist is the cheaper one out of the two, so I will go with that one. I have a lot of Ideas for my box. I just need the money to start. So hopefully soon, my ideas will become a reality.

 

Good luck with the mods. Same here, I want all these aftermarket parts...but $$ is low. Can't get a CF hood because my hood is painted, so I was leading to a CF wing and some Axis rims.

But yeah...go with bBist...

 

I have the Scion Sport Tuning hodd that is distributed by Island Motorsports. Its double sided and fits like OEM. The fit and finish is as good as, if not better, than most out there. I have seen alot of CF hoods.

In defense of bBist, I have not seen the CF hoods that Steve sells, but, if Steve is selling it, you know it is of good quality. Steve does not sell junk.

 

I've got a carbon creations hood and lovin it.

 

Oh yes, there is the Carbon Creations hood that is nice also. Nilo has the silver cf hood on his xB. Very nice. Good fit and finish.

 

Don't forget VIS Racing Sport Hoods. Those are supposed to be great quality. They now have one with a scoop.

 

i have a carbon hood from bbist (steve's) first batch and it fits perfectly fine. i got it back in sept or oct and it's holding up well. great product at a great price. BBIST DOESN'T MAKE OR SALE CRAPPY PRODUCTS!

 

Im thinking about buying a CF hood to, but here in Vegas people have a problem with them fading out , so I dont know witch brand to go with..... leaning more to the VIS :?:

 

The one with the scoop looks good but I have 2 questions 1. is the scoop open into the motor area. 2. wish the picture was better can't see details of the shape of the actual scoop :?: :?:
