What kind of car is the tC?
Since different people have different definitions, how would you classify the tC and why?
“Just a car” is something like a Taurus, Buick, etc. A “family” car that is just used to get from A to B.
“Sport coupe” is somewhat in the grey area. It’s a car that has a good amount of power and handling and is yet moderately priced for the average middle-class, middle-aged.
“Sport car” is one that has an awesome amount of power and control and would be something that you would race, besides straight line drag.
I would classify the tC as in-between “just a car” and “sport coupe”. It is not a grocery getter, but it doesn’t quite have the oomph that you would expect from a performance orientated vehicle.
Of course there are upgrades that can be done to bump a vehicle up a few notches. You could make a Geo smoke em if you really wanted to. So let’s just stick with the stock production models.

The wife gives me dirty looks when a girl walks up to my window and starts to talk to me about my car.
Once this girl with some good sized knockers leaned over to look inside... I couldn't look "that way" since I'd probably never hear the end of it when we get home.

it's nowhere near a sports car. a sports car is a 2 seater or 2+2, that handles really well, and has ample power. sports cars are s2000s, supras, 350zs (barely), mr2s, miatas, and fb, fc, and fd rx7s, etc.
it's an almost sporty coupe, i say almost because it handles like a camry stock.
