When I put a cd in and press the text button, the LED reads "no title", is this normal? Why doesn't the title of the cd show? Can i use the text editor to imput the title of each cd i play, and will the player remember this info?

Most cds don't use that feature, because it save them a little money on making the cd.
And that sucks because that is a good feature.

if you burn them yes you can title them how depends on the software you use, if they are bought then they are how they are.
not really it just reads it from the disc.

1. Yes this is normal.
2. The title of the CD isn't showing because it isn't added into the metadata on the tracks.
3. You should be able to add the data with whatever music playing application you use (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.)
4. You have to change the metadata on all the tracks before burning them. If they have no data in them, then you have to add the artist, title, track#, etc. before you burn them to CD.

copy that. Title is used on burned cd's, currently programed cd's (system of a down) but is mostly used on MP3s, WMA ect.. . . . .
