I searched and didn't find a thing. I am wanting to get a spoiler for my TC (When I Get It). Well, you can get the stock spoiler offline much cheaper than from the dealer. What does the install consist of? Are there bolts, or is it just double sided sticky tape? Also, how much does it usually run to have a install for this done professionally (Other than the dealer)?

About the spoilers. I personally sold a pedestal spoiler to my customer last week that came up off the trunk a bit. It looked real nice but it was a pain in the butt to install. I was back there with the install guy watching him install it and he had to do some drilling and everything. It took a good 3hrs to install. But after it looked awesome. It ran my customer 385 installed which included paint and install. Not bad considering that the lip spoiler was the same price. But be prepared to wait a bit for the install, but well worth it. My customer loved it.

Yeah, even for the lip spoiler you have to drill four holes in the trunk lid. Volvo 740s used to have a similar lip spoiler but it was just glued on. I'm not sure why the Scion part needs holes. Maybe to deter theft.

I bought a pre-painted factory-style rear spoiler for my '96 Tercel about 2 years ago. I had to drill holes for that, and let me tell you, it was nerve-wracking. And that was on a car I bought used! I can't imagine drilling holes in the trunk of my tC. I get the shakes just thinking about it.

I didn't even know the pedestal spoiler was available yet.

well, $385 installed isn't a horrible price at all for it. What I thought was that it was $385 + Install. But if I buy it off that site my fiance's neighbor does body work, so I will see if he can do it.

Do you have any pics of that pedestal spoiler other than the one listed above? I'm thinking about adding it sooner or later to my tC but wanted to see a couple more pics before I make that decision. Any new pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
