Dayton Toyota scraped my front bumper/side skirt!!!
So i got a free oil change done at Dayton Toyota.. I spefically told them that my car was lowered and to be careful not to scrape going up their lift.... Next thing you know i go home and notice my side skirts torn up from the bottom and two parallel scrape marks under my front bumper... Im like wtf!!!
So i go back on today and they say well our lifts arent made for lowered cars and you didnt tell us that your car was lowered... So they won't fix or touch up my side skirts or front bumper... Me and my dad are hirnig a small claiims lawyer and get at least 300dollars for this crap... maybe i'll push it and ask for a whole new bumper and side skirt...

you should have never signed out the car without inspecting it before you leave.
theres always a form here indicating all da damages around the car signed by you and the dealer before you take it in for service.

Call the number in my sig.
You're probably in for a fairly long-haul ordeal. But, after a few months of going through Scion Customer Service, more than $800.00 of interior parts were replaced that were damaged by Tustin Toyota during routine service.
Not worrying about your car getting messed up is one of the reasons to take it to a dealership, not a random oil change shop or a Pep Boys.
And, some dealerships will try to pressure you into signing off before you recieve the car. It can get intimidating.
Definitely call the number and explain what happened. Whether you signed off or not, they'll still set up a case for you.

Wow that's odd - i've been to Dayton Toyota/Scion before to get my oil changed. I've done it 3 times in fact. My car is way low and they had no problems with it.
I assume you're talking about Dayton Scion in North Brunswick, NJ?

im talking about the South Brunswick Dayton Toyota dealer... my car is lowered with TEIN coilovers... i have no wheel gap whatsoever.. so its almost slammed... thanks for that customer service line
When you're that low, i'm gonna say it's almost not their fault... Honestly, my car barely made it up onto the oil change platform - i watched as they got it up there.
yea but, if they knew the car couldnt make it up the lift.. they shoulda told me they couldnt give me the oil change, also my friend's air bagged xA get his oil change there and they use wood piles to get it on the lift.. im wondering why didnt they do that for my car..
